We visit Yountville and the Napa area several times a year. This was our first visit to R+D Restaurant. The food is excellent, great choices of wines, and the restaurant is NOT noisy.
Never disappoints! My dad and I often sit at the bar. The team from the door, to the bartenders, the waiters, runners and management are professional and fast. The GM is often seen restocking the bar, picking up trash in the courtyard or checking the kitchen for orders, TIGHT SHIP! My go to is any of the sushi rolls or the Ruby Star salad(crispy salmon with grapefruit and hearts of palm) This is top of list for a fast, delicious and healthy stop in Yountville.
A kitchen staff on full display with an open kitchen producing quality plates one right after the other. A wait staff with product knowledge & service centric attention to detail. A vibrant ambience situated around a lively bar. Great Outdoor seating, fireplaces, in the softest of soft jazz teasing your ears as you enjoy a festive feast.
