This place was DELICIOUS. I live pupusas, but these were PACKED with the good stuff on the inside with the masa perfectly thin and cooked, the pickled veggies, beans, and crema were FANTASTIC and the picante sauce was deliciously tangy. And the owner happily explained to my mom who was with me what things were and was so friendly and took good care of us!! I recommend this so highly and wish I lived closer to swing by all the time!
Stopped into this little place while passing through and tried Peruvian food for the first time. It was AMAZING! Our server took the time to explain the dishes and we loved what we ordered! We tried the chicken, zucchini, combo and jalapeno pupusas which were savory and just the right spice - and the plantains were a revelation. It is a must try when you’re in the area!
WOW!!! out-of-the-way El Salvadorian treat in unexpected Yreka. This place truly delivers a Salvadorian feast. Incredible pupusa’s and yucca Frita con Chicharron. You are truly not be disappointed and well worth the trip.
