We actually were going to eat at the brewery across the street but ended up coming here after the brewery seemed to be lacking... We sat on the patio with our dog and the staff and owner/manager were so attentive and kind to us! They brought bug spray (lots of mosquitos this time of year) and water for our pup without us asking! The ambiance was great and we are SO glad we came here instead. The food and drinks were also amazing! Super recommend coming here! We will for sure be back!

As always, great food and service on Friday evening. So nice to have piano music during brunch this morning. The salmon small bites and quiche were yummy. So nice to see Toni's hard work and attention to detail paying off.

Bring back the original breakfast potatoes. The ones I had today tasted like mash. Also disappointed that the Gridley griddle was gone. The Denver was small and covered in to much cheese.

Girls brunch on a perfect, sunny Sunday afternoon! There was quite a few of us and we sat outside in the patio. The entrance to the patio was separate than the restaurant. Nice gate entrance surrounded by trees and flowers. Nice water fountain and tables were set up. They serve a flight of mimosas or you can order specialty drinks or anything by you prefer. I got the spicy Bloody Mary. Was very tasteful and you can see in the picture, was prepared very nicely! The wait was long for the food but could be because there was about 15 of us. My breakfast was really good. Was the perfect amt of flavor and enough to fill me up. Inside they have a one person bathroom. They have a little bar and also a piano and someone was playing soft music on there while we were eating which was nice. Overall, brunch at this charming eatery is a must-try for food lovers and brunch aficionados alike. With its delicious menu, inviting ambiance, and impeccable service, it's the perfect destination for a leisurely weekend meal that leaves you feeling satisfied and refreshed. I want to go back for dinner.

My friend and I came for the live piano music on my recent visit. The bar area is cozy, not a lot of seating, but you can reserve a table if you know you want to sit there. The "mural" room for dining is quieter and more private for larger groups. Our drinks and small plates were perfect to relax and enjoy the music ?

I had lunch today with two of my best friends at The City Cafe and I have to say their Seafood Croissant Sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had! It was delicious! The service was fabulous and the ambience charming. Highly recommend their lunch menu.

My husband and I felt very welcome here. We were an hour early and they already had a table prepared with our name and seated us promptly. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Great ambiance. Don't hesitate to check them out!

The meal was fairly good and the atmosphere festive and nice. Staff was friendly and had a good attitude. I would have rated it higher if the wait between salad and main course hadn't been so long. It was over an hour between courses and many patrons, who were seated after us, were completely done with their meal before we received ours. We will try again though.

Exquisite food using local ingredients with an elegant ambiance and hip vibes. A foodie’s delight! Attentive friendly staff serving Yuba City’s best cuisine! The craft cocktails are over the top! Kudos to the chefs who are on top of their game and bringing incredible quality food to the table. I’ve eaten here six times and City Cafe never disappoints! The best restaurant in town!

First time coming here and it was surprisingly good. For the appetizer my partner and I got the calamari. Main dinner dish the Ribeye and chicken marsala. Both dishes had a great taste and portion size was decent. As to the drinks they had a great taste and balance of alcohol. This place is a hidden gem in yuba city Highly recommend this place for a special occasion or date night. The reason why I am giving this placed 4/5 stars is because the chicken marsala was a little salty, but definitely coming back to try out other items in the menu and brunch time.

City Cafe was fabulous. The food was superb and the cocktails were outstanding. My only complaint was the signage outside was hard to find.the sign needs to be larger and better lighted. I've told many people about the restaurant but a few ( not locals) couldn't find it. They were missing a great restaurant!!
