My sister and I were looking for churros. This place came up. As we were walking up to the building we were welcome with such amazing smells. We ordered tacos and tortas and they were hands down the best Carne Asada tacos I've ever had. The Churros are made to order and come out Piping hot. They have a little patio outside that's dog friendly. They're all very kind, welcoming and accommodating definitely a hidden gem. Can't wait to go back.
Update I went back a week later and the food was just as good as the last time. My biggest pet perv is when restaurants are not consistent. I'll get some Photos next time.

Love this whole in the wall, i alway try my best to stop by! Their tortas amazing, the rice is delicious on fridays they do fresh tortillas! Family orientated. La señora es muy movida. El señor igual muy amables y trabajadores!!!

There is no menu and there are no prices posted anywhere - not for the drink fridge, sweet breads or sandwiches and tacos.

Mama Chiquita is over the top authentic! Their street tacos are the best we've ever had and their not those tiny ones either! And the burritos are big enough to have half today and the rest for lunch tomorrow. The bakery items are like little jewels, so perfect and pretty you don't even want to eat them, but please do or you will regret it. The folks that run the place are super cool, and helpful to translate the menu for me. Did I mention they have flan?? Delicious! Prices are also pretty good, especially when you think of all the other places that are charging an arm and a leg for crappy food. You should spend your hard earned money on quality food. Go to Mama Chiquitas for the best Tacos, Burritos and Tortas in the Yuba/Sutter Area! Oh, and don't forget the freshly cooked churros!

I just ate a torta with chorizo and a concha from this establishment. My expectations after reading some of the reviews were that the Tortas were out of this world(true) but the customer service was horrible( not true). While I came in, it was late afternoon and no other customers in line. The lady who helped me was very pleasant. The gentleman who was making the food, did not make eye contact, but that was fine as he was busy focusing in preparing my meal.
The Torta was really, really good. In fact it was so good I might have indigestion from scarfing it down so fast. Lots of meat, great flavor, good portions. The Concha, may have been the first I have had. I remember as a kid having a fondness for Mexican sweetbread that Stockton markets sold, but I likely had different types of sweetbread. This tasted mediocre. But it was later in the day, and may be normal flavor. Have to try a Concha from a different establishment to compare.
All in all will be going here again. Maybe once a week or twice a month to reduce carbs, but the food here is way better than Antonio’s quick lunch. wish they were open on weekdays as well!

1- This place is only opened on the weekends. 2- The food is very pricey and sometimes the meat is a bit bland or they put some of those chunks of grease that are chewy. 3- The owner lady is always sour and rude. It’s sad because she acts like she’s doing you a favor… like hello?! The customers are what keep your doors opened!? Duh!
