Went for a birthday dinner at almost 7 on a Friday night. It was pretty busy ( we had reservations, so we were immediately seated). Ordered drinks and an appetizer - artichoke dip which was fantastic. Our table ordered steakhouse burgers, a Bavarian sausage platter and a pasta dish with grilled chicken. Those who ordered the steakhouse, burgers and the steak on the burger wasn't that great. Everything else was really good. Everyone had a taste of the german potato salad and it was a hit. Service was great.

Rustic German style place, I liked the atmosphere here. Our server Chad was awesome; really nice and attentive. We just got pizza this time (really solid) might try some of the more unique German dishes next time.

We just had an early dinner at southern buttes, they had a large crowd there for a group, even though we were quickly seated, served our drinks & had our scrumptious food all served in a reasonable time by a sweet waitress who was also serving the entire large group, you get 5 stars plus, she recommended the 4 brews for my tasting, all were great, you can see from my food dish, it was eaten clean, great job chefs! Thank you for the excellent service & accommodations!

We hadn't been here for about 2 years and we were appalled by how run down and dirty it has gotten! Cobwebs, dust, filthy glass and front door, sticky floors, and just plain filthy! The food was okay but nowhere near what it used to be. Super nice people and staff so I really hope that they pull it together.

Such a hidden gem. Just about everything is made in house - from the beer to the food. Tried their Hefeweizen and their Oktoberfest beer. Both were exceptional but I prefer the Hefeweizen. Very citrus forward and served with a lemon wedge. Tough to choose what to get from the menu because everything sounds incredible. I suggest waiting the 20-30 minutes for the stromboli! One of the best, if not the best I've ever had. Served with a side of house made ranch and marinara on a wooden cutting board-looking platter. It's a pretty penny but certainly worth it!

When we’re up for a gorgeous drive to see the egrets in the rice paddies outside of Marysville, we keep going and stop for a beer and a bite to eat at Sutter Buttes Brewing in Yuba City. Their brews are varied and very “drinkable,” and the food is delicious. They also offer German specialities. We so enjoyed the wedge salad, which was perfectly dressed with Gorgonzola, and the Stromboli was brimming with filling. It’s always a treat to be served by lovely Cyrella!

So many people recommended to eat here and I was highly disappointed. Took my daughter here for her birthday tonight and they messed up two out of four meals. And one of them was definitely the birthday girls meal! They gave other customers a discount for their messed up meals but definitely did not come to us to discount our meals or say sorry. Our server looked checked out! Definitely never recommending this place or coming back!

I recently visited Sutter Buttes Brewing and found the experience to be just okay. The drinks took a little longer than I expected to arrive, which was a bit disappointing. The service felt a bit subpar overall — the staff seemed a little inattentive during my visit. On the food side, I ordered the coleslaw, but unfortunately, it was soggy and lacked the crispness I was hoping for. That said, the atmosphere and beer selection were decent, so I might give it another shot sometime.
