You can never go wrong with this place. The establishment is impeccably clean, staff is extremely polite and helpful. They staff on the heavy side which I prefer as you are never but a second away from some who can assist you in so many ways. For some reason they no longer offer Lunch specials which was a great way to introduce yourself to other dishes you otherwise might not have given a second glance. There isn't even a Senior Citizen discount, which is a shame to say the least. This demographic is very influential in many ways. The usually eat early bird,which would typically be a dead time and am even better excuse to drum up more business. I go here quite frequently and live the food. I'm hooked ut would like to see them look at the whole picture and notice how a Senior Citizen really can make your business a huge success and/or just as important , they offer their loyalty first and it is the customers offers and draw are very reflective and insightful.
Parking: Parking is relatively straight forward and it appears that they ar.nit liked in roo or ear

Carpaccio’: And Italian hors d'oeuvre consisting of thin slices of raw beef or fish served with a sauce.
Today the yellowtail so called ‘carpaccio’at Aki Sushi was big chunks with the skin on. It was disgusting. Been coming here for years and it’s not the standard I’m used to. Please fix this.

We came here on a date night and asked what was vegetarian/vegan on the menu. We were told there was nothing for us to eat and we had to walk out after being seated. What kind of sushi place can’t make an avocado roll?! Worst service ever.
I’ve heard about a really good sushi place in yucca. (Living in Palm Springs for several years, I’ve yet to find a really good affordable sushi spot in the Coachella valley). A friend and I stopped at Aki hoping it was the place I heard about. Service was pretty good. The decor is cute. The menu is big with some unique choices. I had the sashimi salad, miso and a bowel of brown rice. Woah was that salad delicious and sizeable with lots of pieces of sashimi! My friend had a bento box with tempura that included a big onion ring that he generously shared because he saw my reaction to it! ?. Everything very affordable. Next time I’m ordering the flaming Viking roll. Now, my work is to convince friends to take the drive with me to yucca for more Aki!
