I love coming here. It's an older diner, they have great food! My favorite thing to get is the avacado omelette. Jorge is amazing and always helpful. I love their salsa they make. Unique, taste great! always stop by here.

The prices are great. This is your run of the mill cafe. The chili was warm but not hot. It came with some crackers. It was about $8 and the bowl was filling on its own. The cafe itself was old, retro but spotless. The furniture was very well cared for. The service was excellent. This seems to be a town where everyone knows each other. Just one reminder, they only accept cash tips.

The food is amazing and extremely affordable. Today was my first time there, but I could tell it's a popular spot because there was a line of people waiting to be seated. Plus, I spotted a few people which seemed like regulars, including one guy who fist bumped the waiter. The staff is very friendly and they regularly check on you to see if you need anything else; they refilled my coffee several times. What stood out to me was the fact that they had senior specials, which I have never seen any other restaurant do before.

I stopped in for breakfast when visiting Joshua Tree NP. This is cooking done right with generous portions and prices so low you feel like you’re stealing! Definitely give this place a shot and skip those mediocre chain restaurants.

Have had breakfast here twice in the past week (March 2024). Excellent service, friendly and efficient. Food was great - eggs, waffles, French Toast, Eggs Benedict, pan fried potatoes - everything perfect. Coffee was very good - diner coffee is hit or miss - we'd say this coffee makes the mark! Definitely recommend for breakfast/brunch (we haven't tried it for other meals). Note - it's quite small so may be a wait for a table at peak times. Worth the wait!
