I arrived at what was probably close to peak time – around 10 AM on Sunday. The line was quite long and the food took a good while to arrive. I would have been wondering if it was forgotten except that I could see that everyone’s food was taking around 15 mins to come out. I didn’t mind – I had my coffee and excellent people-watching entertainment. Cafe located on the main street of Yucca Valley near Joshua Tree. Tables inside and outside as in old western movies when you enter it seems to enter the past, immerse yourself in a world that is not ours. Coffee served with very good cardboard cups, bacon and baguel. High prices but we are still in the USA. Lots of parking outside and local a little neglected.... but maybe it is done on purpose.
Loved this quaint little cafe! Recently stopped in with a group of friends (new to the area), and we were all very impressed with the menu options. Prices in California in general are higher than our Midwest norms, and this cafe was no exception- but it was worth every penny. I ordered the grilled cheese (added avocado), a hot peppermint tea, and a couple immunity and vitamin C shots. Laidback, cool atmosphere- overall great experience!
