Oh, man. This place was outstanding!!! Delicious food, service vibe was fun. Outdoor seating was relaxed and smart. Even the DJ was good! 100% recommend you keep the dinner service!

An amazing gem on Old Woman Springs Rd (CA-247) in Yucca Valley. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, which was arranged via text messages. While the restaurant only started seating 15 min before, many tables were already seated; we were promptly seated. My wife ordered a Flaming Sunset cocktail while I ordered a Sangrita mocktail. Both were excellent. We started with with the Shishito Wrapped Dates and Mushroom Toast. The dates arrived first, they were sweet, creamy, chewing, and a little peppery. Outstanding. The mushrooms were next, and they were smoky and lush. Also outstanding. Our son loved his Hatch Chile Sliders. My Halibut à la Nage was delicious; the halibut was tender and the bouillabaisse broth was rich , herby, and flavorful. My wife's Ceviche was a sweet and sour, creamy and crunchy delight. We finished our meal with the Key Lime Panna Cotta, with its lovely lime flavor and smooth panna cotta.
We will make sure to return to La Copine every time we're in the area.

La Copine absolutely lives up to the hype. Every dish we tried was delicious, but the standout for us was the ceviche — so fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced. The space has a cool, desert-chic vibe and the service was warm and attentive. Cocktails were tasty but definitely on the petite side, more of a sip-and-savor situation than a full pour. Still, a must-visit when you’re in the area!

Tony & I enjoyed celebrating our 62nd wedding anniversary at La Copine today. Our grandson Austin joined us. We sat at the bar overlooking the grill. It's my favorite place as I get to watch the cooks doing a lot of the prep. Their fast pace, quiet communication and ability to produce consistently delicious food is admirable. For me it's the best and most enjoyable show. Well trained cooks who are proud of the work, and the results show it. No drama, just a job well done. And the subtle drinks are very special. Nikki and Clare, you helped make our day even more special. I hope next time we visit you're both there so we can say hello and hug.

The food is absolutely delicious! Nothing to say about it! But the reception was really not good! Too bad because it spoils the experience a bit. English is not everyone's first language and having to repeat a sentence should not be a tragedy for anyone.

This is one of the best restaurants in the USA that I have been to, they do in fact mix many ingredients into a plate but the harmonization of these. ingredients makes the food delicious and healthy. I love it so much forgot to take pictures of the main. But I did manage a picture of the dessert which I will never forget, rice pudding. Wow, many thanks !!!
