We went for a delicious lunch. Food was delicious, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. You won't be disappointed.

La Copine is the best restaurant in the Yucca Valley area. Fantastic food and service. If you are in this area vacationing or visiting do not miss the opportunity to go to La Copine. It is truly a wonderful food experience. You will not be disappointed. I went there two days in a row and would have gone again however my vacation came to an end. And if you are scanning reviews and see any negative reviews for La Copine then you should ignore those reviews. Obviously those people have no clue what they are talking about. La Copine is an exceptional dining experience

Ordered the wagyu steak med rare, came out well done. Didn’t see our server for 10 minutes, didn’t have time for a reorder and it was very busy. Also ordered the whiskey brisket, about a 1/3 of it was super fatty with no meat. Was comped 25% for the steak, not good enough. The orange pan a cotta was really good though.

La Copine is fresh and inventive - and just plain great food and great service! It's always a great experience (and they're also very dog friendly too!)

Reservations are recommended and be specific if you want to sit inside/outside. And be patient! It's a smallish space and can be a long wait sometimes but it is SO worth it.

ps can't wait for the cookbook!

It's about 20 minutes from Yucca Valley and there was a bit of a wait

The wait was very long. Sat inside, the level of noise was deafening. I ordered the brisket sandwich. The bread was charred and barely 2 thin slices of brisket. Plus it didn’t even have a side. Do a tiny sandwich with practically little meat for $25. A total ripoff. Others had the fried chicken which consisted of a small leg and small thigh. The skin was overcooked and hard. Another ripoff for $26. No comparison to KFC at a fraction of the cost.
I would never go back and never recommend this overpriced, noisy hole in the wall restaurant.

Yum. Everything about this place hums love. And talent. And kindness. And fresh ingredients thoughtfully assembled and lovingly prepared. Yum on all the levels.

Expect a long wait. My fiancée and I waited for over an hour in the hot desert sun. Despite that, the food made it all worth it. We had the Copine Salad, the fried chicken, and the Lavish Lavash, all of which were incredible. In retrospect I would have made a reservation but the food is to die for and the ambience is super cute as well.

The world would be a better place if we could all eat at La Copine. The Wild & Free Salad could end world wars.

The food was totally fine. Nothing memorable. My partner had been before and mentioned that the quality had gone downhill.
The lavish lavash was pretty good (but how can you mess up a salad on pita). The gnocchi were good, not great, and the portion was small. The hash was very bland. The desserts were pretty but the flavors were underwhelming (bland).
Service was NOT good. The hostess was dismissive of people in line and giving preferential treatment to friends.
The waitress was rude. She dropped silverware when collecting the dishes and made some snarky remarks.
Four entrees, two drinks, one juice = 175$
