We were just passing through and stopped to photograph the Joshua tree in front. Never pass up a chance for good bread. The baker was out of bread but very sweetly gave us 2 brioche buns he had left even though they were closed!
These folks are kind, and lovely and you should definitely try their bread. It was delicious.

OH MY GOSH, best coconut macaroon I've ever had. Their specialty breads aren't done until 10:30, sourdough brioche is available until then. The place is a little cramped while ordering. But the customer service & delicious food more than makes up for it.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options (it's a bakery, after all).
Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free almond cookies and gluten free coconut macaroons. Super tasty, but not safe if you have celiacs.

Second time in a year I’ve come and they are always out of fresh sourdough loaves even though we get there right after they should be available according to their bake times. Seems like they mostly just focus on selling actual sandwiches and etc than loaves. We have been looking forward to trying them out but they always say they are sold out. We also tried calling ahead of time to avoid going for the 3rd time yet they never answer their phone.

Really enjoyed the pastries and sandwiches from Luna Bakery! All the pastries are sourdough based, we tried almost everything and especially enjoyed the cherry danish, Nutella turnover, cardamom twist, croissant, chocolate croissant. Sandwiches are available after 9am, I really enjoyed the tuna sandwich and salami. They also had potato salad, lots of mixed veggie in there! If you dine in, bottomless coffee! Woohoo~

I was driving to work in Palm Springs one morning and saw this bakery shortly after they opened and stopped in to check it out. They did not disappoint! I'm a sucker for the cardamom buns, tarts, and savory scones. Wish I lived closer!

Such a great selection of bread, pastries, and sandwiches! It’s so nice to see that they use organic ingredients. Staff were very friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating areas. Clean single restroom.
I ordered the tuna salad sandwich. Focaccia bread was light and soft but held up when handling the tuna salad. Also tried the prosciutto and goat cheese, which was well balanced. Finished with a lemon tart which I would recommend if you want something a little more on the sweet & citrusy side.

Worth the trip to Yucca Valley! We tried their croissants, cheddar and green onion danish, cardamom bun, brioche bread and coffee. Everything was excellent. Staff is very kind and welcoming. An absolute gem!
