We were just passing through and stopped to photograph the Joshua tree in front. Never pass up a chance for good bread. The baker was out of bread but very sweetly gave us 2 brioche buns he had left even though they were closed!
These folks are kind, and lovely and you should definitely try their bread. It was delicious.
OH MY GOSH, best coconut macaroon I've ever had. Their specialty breads aren't done until 10:30, sourdough brioche is available until then. The place is a little cramped while ordering. But the customer service & delicious food more than makes up for it.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options (it's a bakery, after all).

Absolutely delicious bread and sandwiches. We came here dang near everyday while visiting, and were never disappointed. Great service and food, sad we don’t have something like this back home.
