The food at this place is disgusting but I always go for the Route 44 half reel lemonade half unsweet tea. That combination with the pellet ice in that big ol cup is perfect for driving in the desert.

The Joshua Tree drive-thru experience was delightful with Lark. He was kind, asked if we needed condiments, and explained items on the menu. We enjoyed the cherry limeade, all-American hot dogs, and tator tots. Will come again.
