Starbucks is generally a convenient, reliable option for a quick coffee. The Victory & Canoga location is noticeably more organized and fast, but the Fallbrook & Victory branch tends to be quite slow.
Overall, the coffee does the job, but honestly, the flavor quality has dropped over time. I usually balance it out by customizing my drink with their syrups, which helps make it more enjoyable. Not amazing, but still a practical go-to when you need something quick and familiar.

Always love this place. Everyone always welcomes me and asks me how was my day. I get good energy here and they remember me.

For context, I am from Seattle where there are many options especially for coffee/beverages and snacks (Starbucks every ten miles max but also many other/more local options for cafes with coffee and other drinks like bubble tea, matcha..). I go to Starbucks because I am sometimes on the road (including for work) and they have a GF snack I can eat (potato cheddar egg bites) and most cafes have *no* GF options for food except maybe yogurt. I also do like their ristretto shot lattes/mochas.. the coffee beans they use for espresso is a darker roast which I like. I don't understand all these cafes (JT Coffee Co. here, for example, but it's many popular cafes in Seattle as well) using medium roasts for espresso. Yes it's higher caffeine but so gross and opposite of Italian style, origins of espresso.. and I don't understand why people like it but they must (JT coffee Co is going strong years later, for example..).
I have been coming to this beautiful area for vacation at least once a year since 2020. I love love the vibe, scenery, how quiet it is.. and it's a short flight.
The Starbucks cafes in this area are all extremely slammed and short staffed from early/mid January. I understand that it doesn't make economic sense for Starbucks to open more stores due to long slow season in desert areas.. and the priority of Starbucks management/corporate is the bottom line above all else (customers or staff) so I don't expect that this is a problem that will be solved anytime soon. So I try to make my own coffee drinks for most of the the days I am here visiting because I feel bad for the staff who should be paid more considering how slammed they are all day.. it makes me feel guilty and like I'm part of the problem. Also the guy who posted about cake pops needs to touch grass. You must have an amazing life if that is the first world problem you think is worthy to post about online.. go buy a candy bar or tub of ice cream. Or if you're on a road trip bring candy that won't melt. Same effect and your kid will be just as wired and happy. Problem solved. Also I tried a bite of a cake pop when I was a nanny and they are gross. Your post makes no sense on any level.

I can’t believe how dirty their bathrooms were. I can only imagine the kitchen. I thought Starbucks had some standards to keep up to.

I have been here twice because with certain things like service i believe in second chances. But never will i ever make this mistake again at this location not only was i being stared at by the barista but she skipped me twice and i had the simplest order.I even consider it giving them a third chance when i went to the cashier to get a to cancel my order because it wasn't even being prepaired. But when i finally said okay ill wait a second longer she gave me the worst drink.I was hurt. But no bad wishes to them just telling how i feel about what i reviewed.

The staff here are super friendly and smiley, even at four in the morning! This place was a lifesaver for me during my trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Conveniently located close to the park, it is the perfect spot for overlanders in need of a hot morning coffee, breakfast and washroom facility.

Really poor line management here. Granted it was crowded today, but they made me and my three year-old wait 20 minutes in the food line for our cake pops instead of just handing them to us at the register. Very nice cashier tried to help us get them at register but manager barked at her to make us wait.
Good Ole Starbucks.
