Yeah food was pretty good beer was good. They advertise beer to go but when you try to buy it they don’t have it which was confusing

Sat at the bar and ordered the 3 IPA’s they had on draft. The black IPA was my favorite. I ordered the Lucille sausage pasta and it was awesome. Entrees only served after 5pm. Great flavor and sauce was nice and creamy. The Caesar salad was outstanding with nice wide pieces of Parmesan cheese and tasty dressing. I ordered fries just to try them and they were crispy and very well seasoned. Great place to eat and have a few local beers.

Went to Sand Dunes for a day trip from Denver last Saturday. Loved the atmosphere, the service was great, MOST of the food was great including the fresh salsa but the steak in the steak and cheese quesadilla was AWFUL. Couldn't even bite through it at all. Was like hard chunks of rubber. Tasted terrible too. Just an fyi.

5/12/23-This place came recommended, but it was a horrible food experience. Their beers were not good. The food was super greasy and bland. The service wasn't even good. Like for example we asked the server if the chocolate hummus was good and he said that not only had he never tried it, but that he had never seen anyone order it. We tried it an it was a mistake. It was super gritty and just tasted of dry coco powder. Just a bad food experience around and I would recommend that people get food elsewhere.

My husband and I stopped here for a late lunch in the middle of a road trip yesterday. Best burgers and fries we have had in recent memory! Server was energetic and friendly, food came out quickly. The Amber was smooth, rich and malty. Delicious! Wish we lived closer!

Sometimes you're just amazed at what you find in small towns. This place is top notch on service and the burger they sold me was absolutely A1 Colorado beef smooshed by hand. It was good! We could not have enjoyed ourselves more! Nice work by your staff! We hope to return again soon!

My wife and I ordered dinner before the dining room became very busy. The whole dining room was served before we were and we were served only after we brought it to our server's attention. My salad came with cold grilled chicken. We were given a 5 percent "manager's reduction" on a $65 bill ($3.25)! We like the beer at San Lewis Brewing but probably won't be back.

Food was below par. Ordered a chorizo pasta dish and my guest the trout. The chorizo was burnt on one side, like charcoal tast burmt, so I told them and they brought another sausage. It was also burnt on one side. I cut all the litte sausage rounds in half and got one good sausage out of the two. If it had come unburnt I would have given it a 4. The trout was bland and over cooked and vegetables did not seem to be fresh but frozen.Service was very good. The greed Chilli beer was excellent. If I had just came in for a beer they would have gotten a 5. But two burnt chorizo..... no a two

Not a fault of the beers, but this was a notably disappointing place. The server rushed us out at 3pm on a Monday, asked if we “even wanted” the side of ranch we ordered because he didn’t bring it, the menu situation is a threefold mess about what’s actually on tap, and the food itself was a pretty sad display. I mean no disrespect, but I call it like I experience it.

The chicken swiss avo sandwich was as okay as ever so no complaints! The guest peach wine was local and fab! The service was lacking though. We could barely get his attention and when we did he brought our food and asked if I even wanted my side. Which I ordered it - so, yes. We were planning to stay for a drink after the meal but he just dropped our check without a word. Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t suggest to a friend.

In the beginning the Reuben sandwich was amazing. I have been debating to get an other ones. Now this was the lowest ever today. 2 slices of pastrami, worse than the Walmart lunch meat. The sides of the lunch meat were dried out. I make better food at home. To bad. This place went from number one choice to no more my choice within a year. Good by. Today I woulda had given 5 star minus

Took a few days off to wander the Great Sand Dunes and day one the office is calling. So a quick call confirms WiFi at this location (not where we staying). It's about 30 minutes from the sand dunes. We arrived after lunch, so the place was pretty quiet. Ordered the Valle Caliente and WOW! This Chile harvest really makes this beer, so if you like Chile beers, this one is the best. Had an early dinner and the food was as good as the beer. So good that even though there were other options, we went back for a second time in three days. Special shout out to Sean; thanks for the fantastic service! Pleasant, attentive, and spot on with the recommendations! Definitely going back any time we're close.

While this place ended up having great food and drink, the service was terrible. We waited 35 min for our beers to come and another 30 for our food. The table next to us sat down after us and got everything they ordered well before any of our things came out. We weren't in a rush & the menu looked great, so we stuck it out but I wouldn't go back here unless I was sitting at the bar and only trying to have beer.

The beer was warm, and glasses were not chilled. We asked our server, and he stated that the beer is kept in a cool room. It's not refrigerated.I ordered Stout Ribs, and they came cold and hard. I told the server, and he took my plate and had the ribs warmed (charcoal burned) in order to get them hot. That used to be our choice of eating when going to Alamosa. Don't waste your money!
