THERE IS NOT A BETTER WAY TO START YOUR DAY THAN WITH BRISTLECONE BAKED GOODS .EVERYTHING IS INCREDIBLE, AND NOW THEY GOT SANDWICHES .OMG ! THE PLACE IS AMAZING . 😊👍
Hands down wonderful bakery! Us girls stopped in for a quick treat while the boys were next door. We loved it so much we came in later then made another trip from Breckenridge the next day! Croissants were buttery, the pastries were flaky, the fillings were the perfect balance of sweet and the cinnamon rolls were gooey and perfect! 10/10

Bristlecone Bake Shop in Alma is a hidden gem that offers a friendly atmosphere and talented bake staff. The cinnamon rolls are incredible, with a glaze that adds a nice texture and a beautiful, slightly caramel flavor. Their pastries and breads are to-die-for, including favorites like the cardamom knot, caramelized onion with gruyere cheese, and ham with cheese croissant, which many consider the best ham & cheese croissant of their life. Customers also enjoy the strawberry and rhubarb danish, finding the fruit combination delightful, and the pistachio croissant, though it could benefit from a lower temperature second bake. The shop is known for baking at 10,000 feet, impressing visitors with their skill. Regulars love stopping by to chat with Maggie and indulge in her delicious baked goods, and many plan to return for sourdough and more cinnamon rolls. Recent visitors praise the warm chocolate chip cookie, describing it as fantastic, and recommend making a special trip to experience this local favorite.
