Worst food ever, and expensive, just came from there pay before you sit down like a fast food joint, wanted another drink so had to go back to the cashier to purchase another lol, got back to our cabin and both of us were sick the rest of the evening, French fries are the ones you buy frozen and put in the oven lol, I should have read the reviews before trying it,we remember years ago having pie ala mode, not now I don't think they even have dessert, We ended up eating at Frenchy's in Tin Cup, great place with lots of history, homemade pie with ice cream was unbelievable, French fries were great, the potato was put on a potato slicer and everything was cooked in front of you, unlike the nugget cafe where our food was brought out in less than a minute, which makes you think they have food prepared in advance and put on a bun, and other sides heated up,hold onto your memories of the old nugget cafe, it's not close to being the same, I recommend Frenchy's,or Taylor Reservoir Marina, both were very good
Is not what it use to be out rude people out of fries still 45 dollars for 3 taco s and a cheese burger 2 pops place is a joke truck was there but they weren't going to find the bags of fries bot like it use to be by a long shot

Great food, beautiful scenery of the Taylor reservoir and outstanding service. The young girl who took the order for food over heard us talking about needing something to cool our cooler and got us a bucket full of ice. Went of way to accommodate us which was icing on the cake from the great lunch.

Little expensive but very delicious food. There is a patio with nice view of mountains where you can enjoy food. There is a nice indoor dining area as well. We went for an off road Atv ride in the nearby area and stopped here for lunch. Do consider both of these options if you are around the

Disappointing. This was always a must stop. The service was always excellent. Now it has a fast food feel to it. The menu on here is not accurate. It's now 60%

It's great to have a place to eat in the middle of the wilderness. Please bring back the brunch, especially on Sunday.

It just opened under new management and they said they only had one cook so food was a little slow. The Reuben my wife had was very good. I had the hamburger. It was just fair. The french fries were cold and the macaroni salad my wife had was a mayonnaise base which she prefers a more vinegary or Italian dressing type base on the macaroni salad

Our family had scheduled a fly fishing excursion in Taylor so we drove an hour just to eat brunch at the nugget before fishing.Even though the restaurant was short a cook, we were willing to wait for our food. The manager sent a message to the hostess that our party was too big to serve: we were 10 plus a toddler. The hostess said there were 5 tickets ahead of us. We said we can wait but we were told to leave. We even offered to split our party at different tables. There are no other food options in Taylor so our party drove back to Three Rivers to get some food. Then our fly fishers drove all the way back to Taylor to start the fly fishing excursion. The most disappointing thing was the staff did not apologize for our inconvenience, the attitude was one of indifference. Our toddler kept saying “lunch? lunch?” He was very hungry. We had to scrounge up crackers to sustain him while we drove the hour back home to find food. If I could give a negative star I would

We walked in as a party of 12 at 9am on a Thursday. We drove in from Almont specifically to eat at The Nugget. At first the hostess said it would take an hour to get food and we were happy to wait. However, when they realized the time quote didn’t scare us off we were told to leave. They “were 5 tickets deep in the kitchen and did not want our business.”
