“This is the only spot I go to for the most incredible cakes and tasty treats! If you’re anything like me and gluten-free is a way of life they have mastered the gluten-free cake recipe and it is better than any gf cake I have ever had! Plus for those that can eat gluten they had no idea the cake was gf! The cake was moist, fluffy and so flavorful we couldn’t put it down. Amazing! We will be coming back for all of our cakes and can’t to devour the next one.”

“Authentic and Exceptional food from scratch. But it'll never last. Only one person knows how to cook the food and if that person is sick or on vacation, the place closes. Not a business model built on success. The place just opened their doors and the chef is already taking a month long vacation. Honestly Patcharee, good luck.”

“I’ve been going to the W Cafe for over 40 years. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience. These days I make a point of driving over to Gunnison (I live in Pueblo West) at least 4 times a year. My favorite is the Steak & Eggs. They have the best hash browns, ever.”

“We were on our travels from Lake City home to Basalt… chillin outside in the sunshine… until we were called. friendly engaging staff,beyond offerings of a menu… and mimosas… the kitchen makes amazing bfast, The gal who greeted us, so sweet… and the gal who waited on us, ditto.. this establishment is quite a gem.. thank you 😊 Maria & Jim”

“What an awesome treat!! I’m surprised at the lack of reviews. This small batch homemade ice cream stand blew us away. The cinnamon cayenne honey ice cream seriously knocked my socks off and the dairy free blood orange chocolate flavor was amazing! Great job ❤️”

“The Sage Grouse Lounge is one of the most fun spots in Gunnison. It’s a relaxed bar with pool tables, good energy, and a surprisingly great golf simulator. In the winter they run a golf league, so getting simulator time can be competitive, but that’s part of the charm—it’s a popular place for a reason.

Whether you’re there to play a few rounds, shoot some pool, or just hang out with friends, it’s always a good time. A solid local hangout with a unique vibe.”

“Whenever I’m in Gunnison, I enjoy eating at Garlic Mike’s. I was excited to have my 75th birthday dinner there on January 5, 2025. The cream of mushroom soup and flatiron steak were very good, however the Alfredo sauce was thin and tasteless. We weren’t offered freshly grated Parmesan cheese which is standard for an Italian restaurant! I was disappointed there was no free offer of a birthday dessert or just a scoop of ice cream. They were aware it was my birthday! Also the two young men in the kitchen had a rather loud conversation about a sexual predator that could be heard in the dining area!! So my visit there did not meet my expectations, but I’ll probably dine there during future visits”
