Love El Pollo Loco but the service I had was not good this time I went. Iāve gone countless time to this location and never had an issue, even took my family from out of town here. However, on 10/6/25 I went on my lunch break because I really needed a Chipotle Chicken Burrito and they Manager Sal was so rude to me. I had two orders for one car and she started yelling at me over the intercom that I couldnāt do that even though I had been there 2 days before and was able to. If the policy changed thens thatās fine thereās nothing I can do but to yell at me about it is crazy! Then when I went up to the window he started interrogating me asking what time I came and that I can never do that again. I didn't ask for anything crazy just a two separate orders and they acted like I asked for everything for free. Left a bad taste in my mouth for this location. Didnāt know yelling at someone in their car was a way to get feedback. Also, he was aggressively demanding of answers as if he was looking for someone to blame or terminate. That behavior is one of micromanagement and unprofessional to say the least. If anyone should lose their position, it should be him.

I remember the food back in the days probably about over 15 years ago when i had me some chicken at the denver location befote it got shut down and the chicken was so tender and tasted so fresh but now it was kind of dry and man the size of the chicken is ridiculous like is this shrunk chicken? It has even less meat than walmarts rotisserie chicken and at 5x the price. My 16 pc meal was almost 50 dollars and for the size and taste im sorry but i rather pay 5 dollars at samsclub or costco and get a one rotisserie chicken that has more meat than this whole 16 pc meal and taste so much better. I would never come again for sure too expensive for too little and taste is not what it used to be.
Love El Pollo Loco! It is a fresh alternative to other fast food Mexican restaurants. I love their salads and street tacos. Everything is always fresh!
