Beautiful decor great food.
Food was great. I had carne asada and mushrooms, delicious!
Have been here several times and usually enjoy the food and drinks, and I have had only one dish that I wouldn't order again. I have no strong recs, because I haven't ordered the same thing twice. Pretty solid establishment, overall. I like their Cantarito, altho' the margs are also good. Was surprised by a mariachi band (two guitars, an accordion and a trumpet) on a Thursday, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The band were quite good! Might go back on a Thursday just for the band!...read full review

EL TEQUILEÑO Family Mexican Restaurant continues to be a popular spot for delicious Mexican food in Denver. Their chips and salsa remain a favorite, and the chicken sope, cheese enchiladas, Cancún fajitas, and quesabirrias are highly recommended. The restaurant offers good value with generous portions and plentiful helpings of beans, chips, and rice, perfect for large groups and celebrations. The service is fast and friendly, and the restaurant maintains a clean environment with a fun atmosphere. Many customers praise the house margaritas and find the food consistently tasty and hot, especially the enchiladas suizas and the meat dishes. While the place is always busy and sometimes loud with live music, the food is always hot and tasty. The large, appetizing plates are full of flavor and offer great value. It remains a great place to enjoy tasty Mexican delicacies.
