Pier 8 Cajun Seafood & Bar in Arvada

Found by chance when in town for the gem show and we found a real gem in this place! Their all you can eat deal cannot be beat! Waitress was friendly and attentive, everything we tried was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommend. Will probably be back before we leave town and it will be a go to spot in the future.

Good food, terrible service. Our server, Kendall, was very rude. Not a single water refill and really rude demeanor. Made sure to let us know the manager was watching our table so we didn't share food

Reply to owners: no, i'm fully aware. I went in to eat a salad. the multiple clarifications and blatant rudeness in telling my kids and I our table would by watched on cameras is ridiculous. We shouldn't be treated differently because 2 out of our party of 6 didn't do the all you can eat. I dont want your crappy seafood and we'll go down the street to crawling crab instead. A little grace might help your business when you need customers down the line. 5 tables occupied for a Sunday lunch is rough.

P.S. the gumbo is disgusting

Not sure what happened to the quality of service here at Pier 8. I have NEVER been talked to like a DOG by management. The young lady, (Kiely) who claim to be management was very unprofessional and RUDE. Never again will I bring my family or co workers to this establishment!!!

Really need some good Cajun music!!! Music doesn’t fit. Alligator was good but only 6 small pieces. Waiter could have on a clean shirt!!

Had a big party on Mother’s Day great service if you love seafood this is a place to check it out. Great price.

I love Cajun seafood! I recommend the crab legs.

Each time weve been there the majority of the staff is drunk and visibly taking multiple shots during shifts. Managers included.

The food was good, but the customer service from our waiter Kendall was AMAZING !!!! I will defintly be coming back due to the great service 🫶

I decided to try this place one more time after having a terrible experience last time.

Well this time wasn’t any better!!

We came in at about 830pm and sat in the bar, the bartender (female) greeted us but seemed to be drunk… as she was slurring her words and swearing a lot! After we got our food about 9pm it must of been staff shot time as multiple servers were taking shots together at the end of the bar including the bartender.

Seems the staff is allowed to drink while working, but having a wasted server is completely unacceptable!

Asked for a manager and come to find out she was one of the staff members that was taking shots! As being the manager I find that completely unacceptable and unprofessional!

Once again disappointing experience and won’t give this place any more of my money ever again! We will never be back.
