I loved this place. It was the perfect neighborhood watering hole. The staff had this amazing comrardarie and would make you feel like you've known them forever, even if it was your first time dining. Yesterday was the last day for all of the staff. It's my understanding that the restaurant is staying open but the owner (i can only assume cause it was even the GM's last day yesterday) has just decided to fire everyone and change the entire restaurant concept? I don't understand. I attended trivia night on Tuesday to say farewell to the staff and that was the last time I'll step foot in this place. Im so dissapointed. The staff is what made this place special. Sure the food was good and the beer had its moments but that was never why I came. The whole thing seems shady. I don't want to support a business who treats its staff this way or has such a lack of understanding for the community and neighborhood. I'll be following the staff wherever they end up and am praying for them to find a place to land ASAP. I recommend that you do NOT dine at Spice Trade and don't support bad business. Everything about this is wrong.
Came in looking for a beer and ended up seated in the restaurant. The beer was nice, and we ended up carrying out a six-pack good sour as well. Highly recommend a side of garlic naan. Not surprisingly, there are quite a few vegetarian options on the menu, which was nice. The entree we ended up with was great. The portion size was certainly enough to share, and the prices are very reasonable. Watch out for the spice though!
I love Spice Trade. it's pretty far to travel for me to get there, but well.worth or every time. I bring everyone who comes to visit us in CO there, it's perfect for my Girls Nights Out, and perfect for lunch with family and friends as well. My fellow likes to go there for the brews, I love the foods (ok, and brews...meads...wines...and cocktails too 😉). Chris the GM is outstanding and he probably doesn't know it but he's offered me 3 tours of the brewery when I was there with my girls/fam/friends. I've taken him up on that every time. 😊 I also love the wait staff, they're personable and often times it's a family affair. I highly recommend this place!
Best service and Best food
Was not a brewery! Was an Indian restaurant that serves Spice Trades beer. Veggie samosas were good! Chicken tandoori was super dry :(
The beer, mead, and cocktails they serve are very nice
Great beer, cocktails, and food!
Very delicious Asian food, but the staff didn't seem to speak great English and because of this, it made their manner seem a little rude. If you don't mind whether or not the staff is friendly and engaging, then this is an excellent choice for south Asian food. One other thing I want to mention is that while enjoying our meal, two different staff members came out with their meals on their breaks and sat in booths next to ours and they proceeded to watch some videos on their phones with the volume turned up so loudly that it was interrupting our conversation at our table. I had to finally turn around and ask them to turn it down, but they apparently didn't speak English and therefore didn't understand. This is the main reason for my rating of this restaurant. They severely need better management over the employees.
It was okay not so clean, food is great but not perfect but place is unclean Gracie, it can be better! La comida no es tan fresca pero grande lugar simplemente no tan limpia
Good food, good beer, cool location…what more can you ask for? I had the lunch buffet and a beer flight because I wanted to try everything, and I was not disappointed. Will be going back here every time I’m in Arvada.

Very interesting restaurant in a historic building giving a vibe of an old home or inn. We were brought to "Yak and Yeti" by friends who dined here the night prior. We had reservations and were seated upstairs. The staff seemed busy. The food was of course representative of subcontinental cuisine and judged by our friends as very authentic in flavor and presentation. We all ordered different dishes and let each other try the flavors. Everything was tasty. My dish included three types of meat and salmon. Large portions. Naan was delicious too. I also enjoyed my salty lassi. The service was proper. The tables and decor were simple, no tablecloth. I think we would come again.
Got here by Uber and all I got was a flight of beer. Ordered the Scarlet Giant (Gose w/ Key Lime & Hibiscus), Thai Tripel (Belgian Tripel w/ Herbs & Spices), Jalapeno Lena (Pilsner w/ Jalapeno) and Chai Milk Stout. I liked the Jalapeno Lena, then Chai Milk Stout, Thai Tripel and Scarlet Giant. Overall good beer but nothing that will knock your socks off. The employee was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer!
Been in the area for a month or so visiting family and going by this restaurant daily and famiky raving about it and sister locations in area. So... did it tonight. Major disappointment! Not in the food but service. As we had an infant in a stroller, stayed on 1st floor lin bar. Service started out excellent, including refills on water. But when took more than 45 minutes to get appetizers, and others complaining they came shortly, but with all entrees as well. Seems our original waiter had shifted and basically other than when signaled did not have any service after that. 2 orders of naan, 1 of which was not as ordered, Had to signal to point out error, to get another beverage, notify done and needed takeout bixes, request check. Never had further water refills, etc. But watched at least 10 takeout orders go out door. So have to wonder if the takeout gets precedence over inside orders. Final waiter in muted voice said just very busy tonight. No excuse, especially to ignore. We drove by many nights and always busy. At minimum, if true, should come to tables, advise folks of delays, short in kitchen, etc, refills etc. Not sure if will go back when in area again. Worst service ever, and tip reflected at about 1/2 of my normal for even routine service. Couldn't bring self to skunk, but would have been justified.
Vegan saag and sweet potato Masada are great.
They have vegan and vegetarian options and it's all yummy food with great hardworking staff!
