Good place to have dinner with friends. Food were good too. Our server and another staff is also friendly and provide a good services.

7908 is one of my favorite restaurants in Aspen. I have lived in Aspen for about a year and a half and have tried most of the highly recommended restaurants in the area. Many are both overpriced and overrated. This is is NOT the case for 7908. The service is fantastic, the cocktails are creative (and DELISH!) and the FOOD is a culinary experience not to be missed. Two of my favorite things on the menu are octopus and the seasonal watermelon salad. If you want expected and very good, “basic,” choose “the steak house” but if you want creative, unexpected textures, flavors and presentation, 7908 is THE place to find it! A side note: 7908 is the elevation of Aspen. Enjoy!

We took our group of 8 for dinner after skiing: the atmosphere was great (below where the Paragon nightclub of the 1980's was), drinks were creative and fun (my Old Fashioned came in a flask inside a cut-out medical dictionary, my wife's came in a tub of popcorn with a straw) and with a wide variety of food ordered it was all fantastic. Chef Brian who we had followed during last season's Top Chef came out and visited which was a fun finishing touch to the whole evening. It is expensive but in line with what I expect in Aspen and definitely worth it. In Aspen in the 1960's and 70's the Mall was lively and full of nightclubs, over the years as Aspen became wealthier these changed to Realtor offices and high end stores which existed just to have Aspen on their list of stores-it is really good to see a fun dining and nightclub come back. I hope this is a trend.

Appetizers were excellent, particularly the warm ricotta and steak tartare. The mains were good, a bit overpriced. The halibut was a little disappointing. Service was very attentive, maybe a bit loud, but very knowledgeable and attentive to food allergies.

Our service was very attentive, but we felt rushed through our meal. Our entrees arrived before we even had a sip of our cocktails, and while I had wanted to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal, I had to wait to order wine which came as I was mid-way through dessert. The dining room was mostly empty, so we didn't feel that we were keeping other guests from dining. The food was excellent, just didn't have the time to enjoy our dining experience. Not worth the expensive meal.

Food was amazing, servers are knowledgeable. Savored each bite!

Overpriced food. Small portions. Mediocre taste. Obviously the restaurant is there just to support the club that opens after dinner. Many better choices in Aspen. Not fine dining by a long shot.

Mixed results. For context, we have eaten at Michelin restaurants around the world. We selected this restaurant because my daughter and son-in-law are big fans of Top Chef and really liked the chef for this restaurant since they cheered for him on the show. When we arrived we were not seated in the dining room proper, which appeared to be cozy, but instead in a ancillary room with all of the charm of a down on its luck diner. We remained throughout the evening as the sole and only occupants of that room. We were dressed appropriately, although our ski jackets gave us away as visitors. The food was quite good, particularly the fried chicken dish, and our waitress was attentive and sweet. My daughter suffered from altitude sickness and had to leave early and the staff was very good at boxing her food and being attentive and kind. Basically, the restaurant looks greedy, cheap or both by seating guests in a warn-down nightclub. Seat guests in the restaurant proper, period.

My boyfriend and I planned our weekend trip to Aspen and I had done extensive research on the best restaurants and places to dine while here. Needless to say, I landed on 7908. It had wonderful reviews and was mentioned on multiple articles. The atmosphere was fabulous, I loved the decor and vibe. The service was also excellent. The drinks were inventive but overpriced and nothing special. I got a drink that came in a bath tub with a duck, it was cute but tasted like the AMFs I get when I go to Cabo. What really disappointed me though was the food. It was just OK. We started with the whipped ricotta which was good but nothing show stopping for cheese and bread priced at 30 dollars. I ordered the Halibut and my boyfriend ordered the fried chicken. I thought the chicken was delicious but again 40 dollars for two fried chicken thighs was nothing that I hadn't seen before. The Halibut was over cooked. Which really bummed me out because the server had mentioned that it was the best Halibut she had ever had--but halibut is my favorite dish to order at any restaurant and this was far from impressive. We also ordered a side of brussels sprouts which were ok. All in all, I left feeling underwhelmed. I was also celebrating my birthday and was asked if I would like to purchase the birthday dessert (ugh how tacky either bring me a free piece of cake or don't mention it). I had high hopes and was really looking forward to this dinner but would have to say I probably wouldn't recommend.

It's Aspen so I understand the price point, but we came here based off of the reviews and did not find them fitting. The halibut was super dry, drinks were about average, and the hostess was extremely rude. Our waiter was top notch incredible, but for spending $300 between two people I was pretty disappointed.

Great concept and vibes. A DJ has a chill “dinner set” from 8:30 - 10:30, and then the place turns into a dance club at 10:30.I highly recommend sitting at the bar and ordering one of their innovative cocktails. Island Queen was a great tiki cocktail, and the Moroccan was an amazing bourbon cocktail served in cinnamon smoke. However, skip the food. Too expensive for the quality/quantity of food. For $20 we got a small salad, and I was still hungry after the $40 pasta.

Wow, what a service!! I love the atmosphere, the food is amazing same the fun drinks. You can choose between a pop corn drink or a big drink for share with friends. Brussels sports are the best.

We stopped in here in a Thursday night for drinks and there was a decent crowd. They had a good DJ, bartenders were cool and made good drinks. I was told the weekends it was much busier, I would imagine it’s really good then and cool to check out of you want some nightlife

Good food. Bit overpriced drinks. But the 3* go to the fact that they brought us the desert with the bill, clearly forcing us to go. Would have liked to stay for another cocktail or so, but they needed the table
