The DJ was so much fun during lunchtime! The hosting and wait staff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of people but were friendly and did their best. The Wagyu steak sando was tasty but the presentation was nothing special –neither the salad. With the sun out, fun music, and champagne on point this is such a fantastic place to be!

Looking out at the bottom of the mountain combined with great food is an excellent combination. The ambiance is nice. It can get busy, but I do like the community table concept.

Love this place but the lack of Dawn in the environment lately leaves the vibe lacking and wanting for more. I typically only go for the full Dawn experience, so I’m pretty let down that they’ve taken a Dawn-less approach recently. I hope they come to their senses.

Dry chicken, weird cabbage beet salad. $50 for 1 small cup of cheese fondue. Skip it.

Went there excited for a New Year’s Eve celebration with my family knowing the price per person was $295. We took the 9 to 12 seating and was seated 45 minutes late . Our meal was served in rapid fire succession afterwards yet somehow the 6 to 9 party before us made it last 3 hours and 45 minutes There was no atmosphere suggesting it was NYE. Horrible experience from management. While trying to explain our reasons for being upset the manager essentially said FU They clearly wanted to close up shop yet had the nerve to charge $295 pp while the 6 to 9 seating only paid $195. Will never go back. We knew going in the price was $295 pp because it was NYE the issue was how we were treated. They don’t even have the decency to respond or apologize for their awful behavior.

The hot cider was good, they are also famous for their mulled wine (they ran out, so I didn’t try) but the food is alright - trying too hard but the taste is alright. My salmon was ok, my friend loved the bolognese though. So really depends on what you get! A bit pricey for what’s it worth.

The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent.
I highly recomend Ajax Tavern!
