A mixed bag, some great dishes , some rip offs (beef tacos / “lava” cake)

This place was a major disappointment. We were misled by reviews, so I feel the need to prevent this for others. The food was so mediocre and the price so high that we left after getting appetizers, and the bill was still $85! We went to a sushi place nearby and they gave us free appetizers after hearing abt this experience. Go pretty much anywhere else

Came during off season . Found out they don’t open till 4:30. Arrives at 4:33 and seemed to be surprised. Very strange. We were like the first and only ones there before others came and it seemed to take the waiter forever to come back and get my order . But I saw him outside several times chit chatting. I asked the bar tender to take my order and he did . The chicken ramen is like dry spaghetti. My friend said the French martini was okay. The truffle shrimp dumplings were great! Everyone in town spoke highly of this place but I personally wouldn’t go back compared to the other recommendations we had. Evan was really nice. Aesthetically pleasing

We loved this place and the vibrancy. It really was amazing. The services was great and everyone was very friendly. We love raw sushi and they had many selections, it really hard to choose but we went with the sugar daddy. In addition, it was one of our anniversary places we chose and they did make us feel very loved & even surprised us with a small dessert! Would recommend trying at least one thing from their menu — small & big portions! You will not regret it!

The Chinese food is not authentic, the portions are small, the fried noodles are filled with butter, and the Western taste is not delicious. The service attitude is arrogant. I tipped 18% without informing them when it was packed...

Had one of the best Japanese meals ever today at Jing. The restaurant is beautiful, the fish was super fresh, the sushi was inventive, and the service was excellent. If you're looking for a higher-end Japanese / Asian Fusion restaurant in the Aspen area, Jing is your spot! Can't wait to go back!

Visiting Jing restaurant in Aspen, I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of service and the refinement of the dishes. The atmosphere in the establishment combines coziness and style, making it the perfect place for both a romantic dinner and a friendly gathering.

The menu offers a wide selection of Asian dishes with a focus on freshness and originality. I tried several dishes, and each was excellently prepared and beautifully presented. I was particularly impressed by the freshness of the seafood and the harmonious combination of flavors.

A special thanks to the staff for their attentive service and professionalism. The waiters were always ready to help with the selection and provide recommendations, making our visit even more enjoyable.

Our experience at Jing Aspen was a mixed bag. Unfortunately, our evening began on a sour note with a less-than-friendly greeting from the receptionist. There was no smile, which set an awkward tone right from the start. Despite the restaurant being only a third full, we waited about 15 minutes before we had to flag down a server ourselves. It made us wonder if this was due to having kids with us or simply a lack of attentiveness.

However, the food largely redeemed our visit. The fish was fantastic—fresh and straightforward, especially the nigiri, which didn’t need any extra flavors to impress. The soup dumpling was a highlight, as was the crispy rice with spicy tuna. For those who, like me, are not fans of Nobu, I can confidently say Jing Aspen's offerings are superior in comparison.

On the downside, the pork dumplings didn’t quite meet the mark. They were disappointing and lacked the flavor we were hoping for.

Overall, while there were some service issues, the quality of the food, particularly the seafood, stood out and made the experience worthwhile. There’s definite room for improvement, especially in the service department, but Jing Aspen shows promise with its culinary offerings.

The food was good, but not nearly worth the high prices. No good vegetarian options, but they made a substitution for me.

Very bad service…gin & tonic was the worst I‘ve ever tried, waiter told me ooh tonic water is out sorry charged me 18$ anyway for another bad cocktail. Ordered Ramen Noodles but it was just spaghetti? waiter was lazy and the best at the end graduity is always 20% for what?! Bad service, food and drinks. After we asked him he was rude and like you need to pay you are in the USA and you can read it in the menu..we did not read it and on the website they write more than 5 people…we were 2?I‘ve been to the US many times but never had such a bad experience
Horrible experince!!!

Be sure to preorder the Peking duck so good, Srdjan was our server and gave great suggestions and made our evening special. Also the spicy tuna rice melted in your mouth. The sea bass lettuce wraps were so good too
