We have always enjoyed eating at your restaurant over the last 3-4 years but we are getting sick of all the extra charges. We’ve paid the extra charge for a take out box and plastic utensils when we didn’t finish all our food and took it to go. We’ve paid your extra charges for using a card instead of cash and we have always tipped generously on top of these extra charges. Last time we did take out we got our extra charge for paying with a card as usual and then on top of that we received an extra charge for a “Covid package” in which we received nothing more but an extra charge since there is a pandemic going on. This is getting ridiculous at this point. We were happy to support your business in the past since we like your food and the atmosphere but we won’t be anymore. Nickel and diming long time customers isn’t cool.

Bamboo Bear is truly a hidden gem in Aspen. It is a few blocks removed from the main restaurant area, and I walked by it at least a handful of times while I was trying to find it -- it is tucked away a bit. If for nothing else, you have to come here to see how they're handling COVID-19 and contactless pickup/payment. I won't ruin the surprise, but I will say I stared at their process in awe for several minutes, and they definitely deserve a trophy for it! I got the noodle salad with grilled chicken and it was awesome and HUGE...So much food! The chicken was incredibly flavorful and all of the veggies were nice and crunchy. There was also a generous protein to noodle ratio. Great value for the money, and some really tasty stuff here!

My husband and I found this restaurant while looking for an easy dinner in Aspen. We order takeout and went with the crispy chicken local favorite and pho. The pho broth was amazing, as was all of the food, and the portion sizes and prices were great. Would definitely recommend!

Food was good. Chicken is amazing. We had the raw beef pho and it wasn't a hit. The pieces were big and it was chewy. (First time we have had raw beef pho so maybe that is the way it is supposed to be so dont take my comment too literal)

Super disappointed after reading these reviews. Their broth game is embarrassing. Zero flavor, had no depth and no fat content...it was flavored water. The rare beef was also inedible...I literally chewed it for 2 minutes but could not process it enough to swallow.He bahn my roll was beyond stale also. Overall super bad experience, although it’s probably the cheapest food you can get in Aspen.
