This is your 5 star with classic, real family ties, food. The service is always above what you would expect. You still see chef Angelo. Menu items have family roots. Fresh is always key but the food is hand selected. Pistachios from certain regions. Pork chops of a specific type. Prosciutto aged 24 months. Top notch! I’ve been dining here for over 15 years and have never had a bad experience.
Martino is the best front man is the business professional and amazing. Great place great foid
Decent dinner, but not fantastic, and the prices are fantastic. Service is excellent though.
I don"t leave many reviews. The food was delicious. The server was very attentive. The entire staff was very helpful. Probably the best mushroom pasta dish I've ever had. My wife also loved the risotto mushroom dish. Well worth the stop ❤️
The restaurant is beautifully appointed. Very upscale great background music. Love the menu. We had the salt wrapped branzino, which was fantastic. Very happy with the choice.
We had a great meal at Angelo’s. All of the staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating and especially accommodating and welcoming to our 3 year old which you don’t always get in fine dining! Alessandro our sommelier in training was excellent and even wrote out recommendations for our upcoming trip to Spain.

Checked in downstairs, had our party number wrong. Go upstairs and they are asking again who we are and still have our party number wrong. Ignored my request for an outside table. Hostesses were frantically placing paper menus inside leather covers as diners were arriving, so of course a line is building, and also of course my husband ended up getting a leather cover with no menu. Banging rock music was blasting so we asked them to turn it down, which they did until someone turned it up again. Took 30 minutes to get water and bread. We're at the restaurant 50 minutes before cocktails arrived. Food was very good but $148 for several of the entrees for was simply laughable to be treated the way we were. The waiter was barely there, and spilled a drink all over our daughter's arm serving it to her. Needless to say we will never be back. We loved Piñons, then Casa de Angela's, probably visited both often over 15 years. Our bill was outrageously high for the experience, and the place is simply a disaster.
Beautiful Restaurant. We arrived early and it was quiet, but he quickly got very noisy. Our waiter was very friendly and kind and provide a good service and we enjoyed the two pasta dishes we had isnd the carpaccio and the butter salad.
The food was exceptionally good as always. Everything thing was perfect. I'm never disappointed. If you have not been, it is def one place not to miss. See you back in Feb for Valentin's .

We truly enjoyed our evening at Angelo's. The cocktails were amazing and the food was delicious. The service was very good.
This restaurant came highly recommended by friends, and while it seemed to start on the right foot, our overall experience was anything but. First, as a rare positive, our waiter was exceptionally attentive and nice. Unfortunately he was limited by the very strict “rules” of the restaurant so there was only so much he could do. When we made the reservation for 10 people, we were never told about the restaurant's “seasonal 3 course menu” which REQUIRED each person to only order from the 3 course menu. While they had individual items, you were not permitted to order those items unless and until you ordered the mandatory 3 course option. This held true even for our 4, 10 and 13 year old at the table. There were no other options for them and we were never told this before making the reservation. When we asked the manager if the kids could at least order something off the regular items, she VERY RUDELY dismissed us and firmly demanded that each patron, including children, order from the 3 course menu. As for the food itself, I would put it at a solid 3.5 of 5 stars. Not bad, but certainly nothing I would crave or go out of my way to suggest. Hopefully they are able to fix their issues before next season, as I do believe the restaurant has potential. Just a “no go” for me until they can act like a restaurant at the level they are trying to achieve.
I recently dined at Angelo's, and it was the hightlight of our trip.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely divine. I had the veal parmigiana and a beef carpaccio which was delicious. What truly stood out was the exceptional service, specially from Hector. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. I can't recommend Angelo's enough, its a must visit for anyone craving delicious Italan cuisine and top notch service! I do have to say prices are elevated but well worth it.
We were very disappointed by our dinner at this popular place. While the atmosphere and interior are really nice, the food was below mediocre. The tuna tartar was the only thing that was good. Oysters were not appealing at all. I now regret we hadn't sent them back. The complimentary bread came with some bitter olive oil. Both of our spaghetti dishes were just OK and super small. For the price they charge, you'd think that they could spare a few extra noodles. I typically don't complain about portions if the food is good, but since it was below average, we didn't even bother to order more. The service was slow, with a lot of people floating around but only one waiter taking orders.
Aspen has a lot of better places to dine at.
We had a lovely dinner at Angelo's. The service was excellent, the food was delizioso, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I grew up on Italian food (from a real Italian mother!), and Angelo's definitely measures up. If you like Italian food and you're visiting Aspen, you will not be disappointed by dinner at Angelo's.
