le I was in a screening, I received a phone call at 6:00pm from chica. They requested I arrive in the next thirty minutes (an hour or more before my reservation) or they would have to cancel on me because they’d decided to close early. I was in a movie and didn’t get the message until I got out. Obviously bothered by this and seeking further explanation, I called the restaurant and left a message. I received a call back from John (who was apparently still at the restaurant at 8…). John explained we were the only reservation on the books (which he apparently only realized at 6pm?) so he had to consider what was best for business… which meant closing early and canceling on us…um… what? This is a business with operating hours that confirmed multiple times with me. And if I had not shown up this restaurant would have charged my card 25 dollars per person for a no-show fee. So in light of their decision to cancel on me less than 24 hours in advance (with no reason other than *shrug* “it was slow”) I am eagerly awaiting the 25 dollar per person fee I feel I am owed. It’s only right. In the meantime, I intend to let everyone know that if you want to eat, don’t make a reservation at Chica!

I have visited CHICA Miami and the food is fenomenal so I expected this to be the case at CHICA Aspen but unfortunately it wasn't. walking in had over 5,6 employees walk by my family and I without even trying to assist us maybe we came in too late . but as a business owner I believe costumer service is number 1 key to success. we are easy going costumers this is my first time leaving a review ever and its to help CHICA ASPEN do better. the food was tasteless we ended up returning to our hotel and re order dinner. our waiter was good I know he was trying his best but he wasn't the issue because of him we stayed and didn't leave he was on point. I hope this helps the CHICA Aspen staff to improve , FOOD NEEDS IMPROVEMENT . TASTELESS . EXPENSIVE FOR BAD FOOD.
I have not been this year but recall how great the food was. The sliders came all brisket but are described as burgers and brisket. The brisket was so tough, the rolls toasted so they were hard, waiter brought burgers which were zero flavor and rare. The food is nothing like it used to be. Kale salad had hardly any roasted vegetables. The waiter had no clue how to use my Open Table certificate. I won't go back, was embarrassed I chose it for my friends to meet at.
Went for dinner - 3 out of 4 mains sold out at 7.30pm . Decided not to stay. Super loud music and multiple large tv screens with different channels going made it feel more sports bar than restaurant. Clearly more of a lunch time venue but couldn't understand not being able to order items that would clearly be on the menu the following day. Disappointing experience but might be worth a try for lunch or apres ski drinks and snacks
Abysmal. My birthday dinner and the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night in Aspen, now we know why. Appalling, inept service. My $65 steak was served cold and tasted like tyre. Even the burgers and cocktails were terrible. Staff were unapologetic at how obviously miserable our experience was. This was the worst birthday I'd had in 44 years! Having visited Chica in Vegas, I can't understand how they're the same restaurant. Avoid avoid avoid.
The menu changed and I wasn’t impressed at all. The burgers were good but the new menu is very limited.

I’m gonna be completely honest, I’m not sure if this was a one off, but my friends and I had the worst time at this place. The food was honestly terrible the only good thing we ordered were their chicken wings and French fries everything else was terrible. Ordered their ramen (absolutely no flavor) ordered the bone marrow( no bone marrow) ordered salt for the table (got 2 empty salt shakers) the servers were amazing but if I’m spending 35 dollars on a bowl or ramen noodles I expect it to taste better than instant ramen.
Seems like they are still working the kinks out with service but the experience ended up being super positive. The ambiance is great and the little food we had was tasty.

Today may have been either an off night or very short staffed ??♂️. Took 25 minutes (it was timed) to get water to the table, and then had to place our order in twice, before they brought our meals (salads). At least compared to some of the other tables that were sitting before we got there we at least apparently got our meals at a reasonable time as some of those tables never even got meals nor their drinks. We have been to both Chica Miami and Chica Vegas and after giving this a try this year (4th time all together) I think it is safe to say that we will leave our CHICA experiences to the Miami location. And will rather go to a different restaurant in Aspen.

I had the besg experience at Chica yesterday. The food was delicious, quick and friendly service, with a great atmosphere and ambiance. The music was vibey, and the location is perfect. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and their burger and chicken sandwich is a 11/10! Will definitely be returning asap
