We had a fantastic meal tonight with Clark’s but the reason I’m writing this review is the actions and communication from the staff from the hostess to the GM. Our table was occupied by “dawdlers” who apparently were camped out for quite some time. We were eventually seated about 15 min past our scheduled time and we didnt care too much as we were having a drink in the bar. Just loved Clark’s. Reminded us of authentic seafood restaurants in the Vineyard, Nantucket, etc. Beautiful ambience. Excellent food. Great service! One of the best restaurants in Aspen.
Clark’s is always a win. Everything was on point: excellent martinis, incredibly fresh oysters, and absolutely delicious pasta. I truly love this place. The atmosphere and consistency usually make it a standout.
The only downside this time was the lobster roll. On previous visits it’s been brutal (in the best way), but this time it was just a bit underwhelming. Still, an overall fantastic experience, and I’d happily go back again.
