My husband and I love coming here for lunch, breakfast and brunch! we'd come for dinner but we live in Carbondale but are avid ski and boarders. Element 47 has always been very hospitable and constant in their quality of service. Their menu is exquisite! And their quality of service is on point!

We had made reservations 30 days before. We were waiting for 48 minutes to be seated. The food had no taste. Waste of time and money. If you appreciate your money, please do not waste them. This is not a fine restaurant as they allege.

Absolutely unbelievable meal. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and the team made it so so special for us. Duck and lamb were 10/10! Paul was an absolute delight. Would definitely recommend.

Element 47 has a tremendous bar menu, good enough to return to. Highly recommend the wagyu burger sliders and tacos. Fries, nuts, bread and butter, and tortilla soup are also great. It is a Michelin recommended restaraunt and it is easy to see why.

Ate here last week and was blown away by how bad the service was. Had to ask for the check multiple times, even thought there were more servers than customers. The food was good and expensive but that’s to be expected in Aspen. However, the service and having to ask for my check multiple times-requiring me to stand up and insist on it was a big let down.
When there’s more staff than customers I shouldn’t have to wait for anything or ask more than once for anything. It looks like whoever is in charge may have went a bit over the top on hiring J1 Visa workers and didn’t bother to train them all properly. Their service was so bad this is this first time in over a decade I didn’t include gratuity or extra gratuity. It’s a a real shame because the food was pretty good.
Also, I am certain a couple of the employees are drug addicts. Maybe someone should pay more attention to who’s working there instead of “cheap labor good”.
By contrast we also had lunch at Hotel Jerome and the service was out of this world! Eat at Hotel Jerome instead until Little Nell can get a handle on why it ever makes sense to have more staff than customers and not train them properly. Unless you like being served by 8 different people, two of which are clearly on drugs and asking for 20-30 minutes for your check.

Out of all the places I've been to so far in Aspen, every single plate was phenomenal. The atmosphere was perfect! Our server was fantastic in recommendations.
The bread rolls they serve before the meal are quite dangerous. They are addictive and delicious. I had the Grilled Gem Lettuce, perfectly smoky with refreshing flavors. The wagyu beef was one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was seared to perfection and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The smashed potatoes were great for a side for two people. Desserts were great as well.
Literally everyone LOVED their meal-- duck, lobster salad.

We went to stay at the Little Nell for a 30th birthday and proposal and what an amazing hotel, but the food choices were painfully limited. We didn't know about "Off Season" which I guess at Element 47 means you get a micro menu when staying at the hotel until its "On Season". Service was just splendid, and yes the decor and style is very nice, but I don't think in any shape or form this deserves a Michelin Guide recommendation. Maybe 10 years ago? Maybe, the full menu is that much better? Half of every menu at a nice place in Aspen seems to be Waygu. Not Japanese, not A5, not even Kobe. Just Australian Waygu which is the same quality as American Waygu, which really, in terms of quality is just a little tiny bit better than a prime cut, and you're gonna get charged out the rear for it, but then again Aspen folks have money to blow for years and can be easily impressed. Maybe I can come back during a full menu and see if this is worth it.

We shared an excellent Sunday evening here with friends, eating, drinking and enjoying the jazz. We opted for the chefs selection. Fabulous fresh foods served over five courses. All well executed. A previous reviewer said they couldn’t understand why they have a Michelin Star. This restaurant is Michelin recommended, not a star and it definitely deserves its status. The location is good, brilliant location in central Aspen and a lovely ambiance. Fresh and interesting food elk, scallops, wagyu beef, foie gras etc . The staff are all excellent , especially Leslie . The wine list is endless but there is a friendly sommelier to help you navigate it. Definitely on the more expensive side but for this location worth paying the extra to get the best prepared food. Thanks to everyone there for giving us this great experience

Not sure why this has a Michelin star hanging outside the door...food was certainly not on par with other awarded restaurants. Perhaps the chef changed? Beautiful setting, fantastic service - the flavors just need a bit more attention ?

A friend wanted to try this place with me and so we did, it is easily one of the best restaurants in town. I will have dreams about the Element 47 hot chocolate for a very long time after hearing about it forever and finally trying it myself. It is so decadent but not too sweet, the perfect drink treat on a cold snowy day. I also had the eggs and toast and chicken sausage, it was pretty good because I was trying to stay healthy but I’m sure their other breakfast options are also amazing. My friend had the avocado toast and a side pastry and both looked divine. You cannot go wrong here, just go here.

Delicious cocktails. One of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had! Justin, Tanner, and the rest of the service staff were amazing. We will be back!
