One of the coolest, most historic bars in Aspen. Food and service was great. Especially Miles behind the bar who entertained us and told us about other spots in Aspen to check out. Will be back

Usually a chill bar and solid cocktails. I personally wish there were no TVs in any restaurants or bars but for having three, they're relatively unobtrusive. The staff are consistently great as well.
Fun historic bar with great service, drinks and food. Our bartender Akshay was particularly friendly and welcoming.

I'm primarily giving this restaurant stars due to mandatory 22% tip. I dislike mandatory tips. It would be more honest to increase the menu prices, but of course, that would lead to people thinking the prices were a bit high... which probably isn't true, Aspen is expensive.

J-Bar in Aspen is a must-visit for anyone who loves a mix of history and great food. This iconic bar, once a favorite hangout of Hunter S. Thompson, retains its old-school charm while serving up one of the best burgers in town. The atmosphere is lively yet nostalgic, making it the perfect spot to soak in Aspen’s rich history with a perfectly crafted drink and a delicious, juicy burger. A true gem!
