Servers were too busy, was always looking for a server the whole night. Foods come in small quantities (consider the price) but taste okay. Salmon was not so good in quality.

The dynamo sushi roll was great. Plated food portion sizes were small. We felt the food/sushi was overpriced.

Early dinner (5:30) for five. Excellent reception and service from David. Prompt water and drink orders after greetings. Appetizers served promptly including skewers, shishito, and seaweed salad. Several kinds of rolls were all fresh and served very attractively. David very helpful in explaining cold saki v warm varieties. His table service was also excellent and very attentive. Wonderful meal and warm experience.

One of the absolute best dining experiences I have had in Aspen. We tried quite a variety of the menu and it was all great. The Yasai Maki roll was different and delicious. The gyoza is excellent. Our server was truly phenomenal. We will absolutely be returning the next time we are in Aspen and telling all our friends.

We really enjoyed a lovely dinner for 4 at Kenichi Aspen last evening. They have a nice assortment of cocktails and a great selection of saki, plus imported beers. We shared 3 sushi rolls (green tail roll, Blake roll, and Tora Tora Tora roll, a nightly special) and three Entrees (Miso black cod, lobster tacos, and spicy tuna on crispy rice cakes, my favorite). Every item was delicious, and the kitchen thoughtfully adjusted the portions, so each of us got to try everything. Our server,Jue, was a delight and took good care of us throughout the evening. It was just the right amount of food for 4.

Music is super loud, and the waiter was busy talking to girls at the sushi bar. We asked for a light beer and was charged $19. However, we asked another waiter to help, and he removed the fee. The food is good, but it's bow for younger people who want to eat sushi and get drunk! Too loud, great seabass!

It's a great little place for lovers of sushi and more. Menu offered various sushmi and rolls along with signature dishes and more! The food was delicious and the drinks smooth and tasty. The service was good although we felt a little rushed when we first sat down but the server slowed to our liking. I would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed everything. We had yellowtail Serrano which wasn't too spicy. We loved the Miso Cod and the Rainbow roll and Toro Toro Toro roll. Service is excellent and nice wines available by the glass or bottle. I had a lychee martini that tasted good but oddly had a cherry in the bottom.

Place half full , seated next to large family with very loud, noisy unruly kids. Surrounding area totally trashed Agh. Service was with a smile, almost overkill and was slow. Took 35 minutes to get last sushi roll order delivered. Total time for two of us to eat, 1 hour 35 minutes. Got restless. As always food was amazing.

When we arrived, they were playing loud rap “music “. We asked our server to lower the volume and play something else. He immediately did. Let bed the skewers, nigiri, shrimp, mochi. Excellent experience! David was a great server.

Terrible service for what we were paying. Overpriced. Staff practically ignored us. Brought our food out before our drinks. The spicy edamame was swimming in sauce... maybe they should have called it spicy edamame soup. I've been to the Kenichi in Kona many times and had a great experience. I will not return to the one in Aspen. They have a lot of work to do.

Unreal - from hostess to management, was beyond all expectations... The sushi bar chefs, Richard, Jay, Jordan, Oscar, and Ryder made it delicious and beyond. The wait staff, Chris, and his people made us feel we were at their home and Malcolm is the ringleader who sets the tone! Thank you all for a memorable evening with my daughter!

Disappointing. The spicy tuna roll had almost no tuna. All you could taste was the rice. The lobster roll had no flavor at all. The tab was almost $400 for 4 people. It was not worth it and we will not be going back anytime soon.

Great location, friendly staff, very accommodating of special orders. Service was a little choppy with Miso soup coming out late and orders of sushi arriving sporadically. We will return.
