A nice and cozy place to dine in . We enjoyed our dinner . The food and drink was delicious.Justine was our server and she was super nice and attentive. All the staffs were nice too . They made sure that we’re doing great. I had a nice cocktail that comes with chili and it tasted amazing . The drunken noodles was really good as well. A must try spot when you visit Aspen ?

Back for a fourth time and as good as it was when it first opened. An extremely enjoyable experience. Entire staff was welcoming and accommodating and went that extra mile including bartenders, bellmen, waitstaff. Special shout out to Valeria who assisted with a special request before arriving as well as Savo at the front desk. Both went above and beyond to make our stay most enjoyable. Only issue was my daughter is gluten free and there was nothing at breakfast for her to eat. Once pointed out to management they made an effort to get gluten free toast and told me they will address the issue in the future.

We had a incredible time and were extremely impressed by the top customer service of Nelson and his entire team. Everyone from the minute we checked in, to when we checked out they did not miss any details to provide a 10 out of 10 experience. This hotel really impressed me, other hotels should learn from them. The W Aspen is one of my favorite hotels in the world! We stayed here last year December and loved it so much we came back this year. This was one our first stays with newly achieved Ambassador Status and I can highly recommend this property. The service is excellent and I found it better than the St. Regis nearby. Everyone is so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I forget the lady’s name who check us in but she was wonderful. Along with Perry. Special thank you to Spencer who helped us with setting up our BMW test drive. He and his team were the best! Also to Sam who delivered us late night tea and was so friendly. Also to the incredible restaurant staff including Sharny, Vishwas, and Alex. You all made our stay so special! Thank you, we can’t wait till next time!

I wanted to reach out to share with you the top-notch service I received from the W team during my stay last week at the W Aspen. We were greeted by our W driver who was on time and waiting for us at the airport. We were then welcomed in by your delightful front desk staff, most notably Suvo who was so helpful in getting me checked into a room I felt comfortable in. We were on a girls ski trip and I expressed my concerns overstaying in a bunk bed and the possibility of falling. Suvo was able to get us moved to another double bed room that we felt much more comfortable in and was so helpful and patient with me in the process. Of course, I loved being greeted with a glass of rose'! I also have to add that you have the most prompt and polite drivers. We never had to wait long for rides to and from our reservations. It was an overall great experience!

Hands down best EXPERIENCE we have ever had, and we travel the world. The talent (employees) give genuine, bespoke service that is unforgettable. Ankit from India made a desert for us himself from his country on our last day (see picture). Heartfelt. Sol from Argentina anticipated our needs before we knew them, as did all the servers at the "Living Room". All the food was great. Of course you have restaurants all over town to choose from, but we were content eating in-house because the food and service was memorable. Everyone at front desk check-in and Concierge and Valets went out of their way to take care of us as well... Forget Stuffy Little Nell and St Regis, W Aspen is where the fun is at and memories are made! We will be back!

Wonderful hotel and the most welcoming front desk staff, including most notably, Andrea. The rooms are fabulous with great amenities including toiletries, shower, bathrobes and Frette slippers, very cool design, the most luxurious bed and bedding, and so quiet. So why didn't I give 5 stars?? Because the dining was sub-par; food was no better than average and service may have been the worst - virtually non-existent. The only reason I can think of for the disconnect in hotel staff and dining staff is maybe dining is contracted out. So stay here, but eat elsewhere - anywhere else - so many great options out there.

This is a lovely hotel but you pay top dollar every amenity. The service was top notch and the roof top pool and bar area is great. It’s a good location for walking around town. But bottom line, at $1000/nite you should not get nickeled and dime for everything and your room shouldn’t be located on the first floor near the 5:30 am loading dock area.

We just completed a 4 night stay in Aspen at this W, which is located conveniently in town. The check in process took 25 minutes; not because there was a line, but rather because they couldn't figure out the room availability and assignment. Of the 2 rooms we reserved, only 1 was available at the official check-in time which complicated getting ready for a formal dinner we needed to be at. The rooms themselves were fine overall and adhered to the typical W aesthetic, but the motion-driven lights and thermostat made for an uncomfortable temperature, and caused everyone to stir in the night when one person would get up for the bathroom. While there, we had 5 meals in the dining room (called 39 Degrees) and 2 on the rooftop next to the pool. Of the 7 total, 6 had something incorrect about the order. The car service they provide, called Wheels) was changed to only be available on the half-hour after our first day there, and the lead valet (in the sport coat) was one of the most unprofessional staff members I've ever encountered at any hotel, seemingly overwhelmed by the most basic of things. The rooftop pool and hot tub was nice in the Aspen environment, although generally packed with people and loud, and a bit gross given the number of folks in the water. They rope it off at night despite saying it's available 24 hours. Overall it seemed as though they hire any 18 year-old and assign them a job, with no training on their specific assignment, and especially no basic hospitality training. There are many better choices than this in Aspen, and we definitely will not stay here again. In fact, if this is where the W brand now is, we may never stay at another W.

We had a great experience on the Aspen W WETDeck rooftop. In particular, the bartenders Becca, Casey, and Will are outstanding. In addition, the food is quite good, and the entire staff is welcoming and friendly. We also enjoyed the memorable mountain-views.

Following several years of reduced travel and after ticking off visits to family & friends, and a beach holiday, it was finally time to revisit the great outdoors. Aspen is one of those such places where no matter the time of year there is something for everyone to enjoy. Located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Aspen with its stunning natural setting and a population of just 7, 000 is known worldwide for its skiing and snowboarding. With several ski slopes around the small town the place is brimming with people for the winter months - but what happens when the snow melts? The scenery is of course just as stunning, but a whole host of other outdoor recreational activities come to the fore with everything from mountain biking, fishing, paragliding, rafting, horseback riding, cycling, camping and hiking all within reach. Having deliberately timed my trip to this Rocky Mountain enclave I was surprised to be greeted by a late spring snowstorm. Although few flakes settled on the ground, it was a rude awakening and caused me to remember that being an altitude of 8, 000 feet above sea level, wintry conditions are able to return at a moments notice. Aspen is very manageable in size, easy to navigate and walk around. With the four mountains set outside of town, the charming downtown area is thankfully very flat. Popular with wealthy clientele and peppered with a number of luxury lodgings, high-end boutiques together with some fine dining restaurants too, it’s no wonder that it is one of the most appealing towns in the Colorado Rockies. We spent three days at the W Aspen which only opened in late 2019 - the city’s first new luxury hotel in 25 years. Built as a ski chalet with sloping roofs just as you would expect to see in the Swiss Alps, the hotel is nestled right at the foot of Aspen Mountain, locally known as Ajax, with the ski lifts and gondola rides fully visible the moment you step outside of the hotel. In the summer, without skis and boots, visitors can still marvel at the views from the top with the cable cars restarting from June. The hotel is beautifully furnished with wooden ceilings and wood panelled walls throughout. There’s also plenty of local artwork showcasing Americana and the vibrancy of the state with pictures of mountain bears, meadows and snow capped mountains. The hotel also boasts a terrific rooftop pool heated to a perfect 90°F which means that even with even on a chilly day, the warm waters of the hot tub and pool will still warm you up. It’s one of very few rooftops in the city given that many other buildings have sloping roofs. The rooftop offers incredible panoramic mountain views and on a weekend evening, fire pits, cabanas, bar, dance floor and DJ. We had Spectacular room which was tiny for a family of 4... in fact there was barely any room and even a rollaway did not fit properly. My son asked me 'am I going have to sleep standing up?' Thankfully, the front desk corrected this pretty quickly and we were moved to the Wow Suite which was far far better. Plenty of room with a shower, huge tub and a couple of seating areas too. Really nice stay. On my first night in town, I met a man from Liverpool who had moved to Aspen 40 years ago and never looked back. Derek runs an Italian restaurant across the across the road from the hotel and he explained to me that there are very few weeks in the year when Aspen sees a quieter period. In winter, its population doubles to 14, 000 while tripling in summer to 21, 000 when the city music, food and art festivals run. I was duly informed that the week I had picked to come to this sleepy Rocky Mountain town was actually ‘mud season’ - the time between when the winter season officially ends and summer gets into high gear. Nevertheless, there was plenty to do for the time we were in town. Summer brings a new event almost every week. The best known is the Aspen Music Festival that runs for eight weeks from June to August. Visual arts are celebrated in mid-July when the Aspen Art Festival runs while the renowned Foot and Wine Festival, one of the country’

This is legit the biggest letdown I’ve had. Came here for a wedding. The service is a 1. Came back to the hotel- to order room service. For the past 3 hours - they can’t find the chef and will offer nothing to replace or help. I’ve been on hold for ten minutes now. This is legit a joke and I will never stay here at this hotel

I have stayed at many W hotels and they never seem to disappoint, for sure they delivered at the W in Aspen. The hotel offers completely rides to/from the airport and throughout town in a few nice BMW X5’s. We never had to wait long for a ride anywhere. The hotel was over sold and we tried to get an upgrade with no luck and we’re concerned about the roll from a few other reviews. They were wrong, we had the room with 2 queens and one was elevated. This set up made the roll feel more spacious. The room itself had modern decor, plenty of storage in the closets and the signature heavenly W beds. There is a nice Lavazza coffee machine in the closet and they have a small refrigerator if you need it. Some reviews complained of lack of space, I was traveling with a friend and we had plenty of room for all of our stuff. They have a DJ every afternoon in the bar on the second floor. This place was not busy during the week, it seems like only on Fridays and Saturday’s, but on those days it was a good crowd for Apres ski. We did eat here and the burger and Mahi was solid. They also have a good breakfast. On the roof they have a good sized hot tub and heated pool. There is a heated towel cabinet but no where to really put your stuff so you have to run from the bar where you dropped your stuff to the tub. The tub faces the mountains and you get a great view on a clear night. The bar is closed in the winter but I would suspect it’s a cool spot in the warmer months. The location is also great. If your skiing Ajax there is a small path you can take and walk right to the gondola. Across the street there is a market and pharmacy, you can also walk just about anywhere from here. The W delivers in all the right places! Next time I’m in Aspen I will be returning

This hotel tries to be hip and modern at the expense of practicality. Our room was a 2 bed queen with the beds configured in a bunk bed type arrangement. The TV was on a pole at the end of one of the beds. This arrangement put one person next to the wall, and when they needed out of bed, they had to crawl over the other person. Anyone with claustrophobia would be very stressed in this situation. I’m sure the poor housekeeping staff hates this arrangement. The lights in the room, again while trying to be cutting edge, were not user friendly. The lounge/restaurant area was nice, but apparently they couldn’t decide if it should be a club or a restaurant/bar. There was a dj that arrived around 5:00 p.m. and began playing very, very loud music until maybe 7:00-8:00. There is not a dance floor. This was very confusing and not a relaxing, comfortable vibe at all. Why wasn’t the dj there at 10:00 p.m. rather than late afternoon? The hot tub/pool area is on the roof and nice very. The workout facility was also very nice. The staff was also nice and friendly. All in all I would not recommend this property. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing stay, this is not your place.
