Beautiful restaurant with a chic intimate club like atmosphere. Beautiful food preparations. The service was wonderful as well. It is quite pricey, but this is probably to be expected in Aspen.

We celebrated my wife's birthday last night at Madame Ushi and loved it. The food was a unique and creative twist on sushi with amazing dishes that were unlike anything I've seen or had before. The atmosphere inside was beautiful but it was too nice of a night so we sat out on the patio. The best part of our experience was our server, Boris who had great sense of humor and command of hospitality.

I stopped by for brunch over the weekend and the new menu has turned my go-to brunch spot to an avid Ushi-goer. Their new happy hour is the best deal in town and also has something for everyone (even if you aren’t in a sushi mood). The service has improved significantly!! I highly recommend stopping by!
All my best,
Madame Taylor

Fabulous happy hour! The patio is nestled in the middle of the Aspen mall with plenty of shade. Highly recommend trying the spicy scallop hand roll and Happy sushi roll. Best sushi deal in town.

The flavors were great and the small plates decent value. The scallop was a huge disappointment! The chicken breast (what about brining?) was dry...we didn't finish it. Skirt steak very good and we ordered the truffle sauce which was more of a gravy...not worth the extra $$. I liked the short ribs. All in all, okay, though, in my opinion, not much bang for your buck!

I recently visited Madam ushi and was unfortunately very disappointed with my experience. Here are the main issues I encountered:

The service was extremely slow. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive. When we finally did get served, our order was incorrect and had to be sent back.
The quality of the food was subpar. For the price, I expected much better.
The ambiance was not pleasant. The front desk manager told me they were going to give away my table since we arrived 10 minutes late but the restaurant was only 40 percent occupied.

For the prices charged, the experience did not match up. The portions were small, and the quality was not up to par with other similarly priced restaurants in the area.

Overall, my experience at Madam was very disappointing.

Worst dinning ever experience I have ever had, which was shocking because almost all the restaurants in Aspen are so great. Hostess was extremely rude. Took 20 minutes to get water and 45 minutes we get a drink order. All the food came out wrong and at different times. I wouldn’t go back if they offered me a free meal. Avoid this place.

If you were to pick one restaurant in Aspen to dine at, this is it. The food is another level; an array of flavors to please every palate. Step inside and let the ambiance embrace all five senses. Above and beyond customer service providing an experience you will want over and over again.

Madame Ushi was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The decor sets the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. By far, the most beautiful restaurant in Aspen! The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations.

The highlight, of course, was the food. Madame Ushi offers a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine, and every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, and the ceviche was bursting with vibrant flavors. The signature rolls were innovative and delicious, each bite a delightful blend of textures and tastes.

The cocktail menu is equally impressive, featuring creative concoctions that perfectly complemented our meal. The attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience, from the thoughtfully curated menu to the elegant presentation, made our evening truly special.

Madame Ushi is a must-visit for anyone in Aspen looking for an extraordinary culinary adventure. I can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite offerings.

The place was dirty, the pants were stained with the lower part of the table, which was not cleaned, the situation was not corrected, we ordered the appetizers and they were very bad, we no longer ordered the main course and we preferred to stop, ask for the bill, pay and leave the placeThere was never good attention

Beyond baffled as to how this restaurant can have good reviews for the food. Service and atmosphere are great but the quality of the food was very mixed with sushi (maki and nigiri) being subpar. Anyone who ranks the sushi high here has not experienced truly good sushi. The price point makes skipping this place a no brainer.
