Our bartender Sarah was fricking awesome! She was quick, friendly and helpful! She was actually so friendly that we ended up skiing together for several days, let’s just say, she can “shred” on a snowboard! Lol!!! The beers were ice cold and the chicken fingers were the best I have ever had. Can’t recommend enough.

Excellent food! I highly recommend the chicken taquitos and Harvest Bowl, I added steak. The margaritas are very good to if you don't like them sweet.

Decor and vibes are great, the salsa is amazing, everything else is kind of bland for a Mexican restaurant. The beans were undercooked, the birria was almost flavorless, guac was under-seasoned, the drinks were fine, but absolutely not worth $20 a pop.
We arrived in time for happy hour, but because we have a kid and couldn't eat in the bar area, they refused to let us order ONE round of drinks at happy hour price, just because we were in the main seating area. So much for customer service, I guess? Can't cut a couple of parents a break and be a tiny bit reasonable. Oh, and they charge an extra fee if you pay with a credit card.
Some overpriced restaurants in Aspen are worth it. This one is not.

We had dinner on New Years Eve. Despite dinner reservations, we were hassled at the door to pay for a wristband. After a bit of back and forth they allowed us in so long as we left after dinner. I get the need to manage the door but the manner was unprofessional and unnecessary. I had a fish taco and pork taco with a side of beans and rice. Affordable by Aspen standards but nothing to write home about.

Nice location and vibe, harvest bowl is ok but could really use more beans/rice imo. Also disappointed by lack of other options, even at Taco Bell you can get a vegan bean burrito.

The food and vibe were really good, but our visit was marred by a broken wrist upon entry, which was reported to 3 different staff members, including one manager. No one asked my daughter how she was or took a report of the fall due to a slippery entry way. This violates OSHA 300 log reporting, which was also mentioned by me to the manager and waitress with no action. Sadly, because of this blatant disregard for safety, I can’t say we will be back.

If you're looking for an upbeat place to hang out, come here! The bar is always happening and loud with cheerful people. The dining holds a lot of people. The food is always consistent and never disappointed. If you like spicy food, this is a must!

Mi Chola has an excellent bar experience: wide selection of tequila, creative cocktails and always an attentive bar tender. We enjoy having street tacos at the bar, never disappoints. Occasionally, the service for *dining* seems to vary - everything from annoyed, to an unnecessary aloof attitude. It's Aspen and the choices are many. Best suggestion: sit in the bar area.

Literally everything was amazing. The food is the only place in Aspen with LOTS of flavor. The staff were attentive and chatty with us. The food stood up to its deliciousness with variety and choice of spice levels in certain dishes. Many, MANY drink options and they are not light pours ☺️.
4 stars ONLY because of price. We’re in Aspen but even upscale Mexican restaurants are cheaper in drinks and dishes in Denver.
