Went for cocktails and a charcuterie board, and were blown away. We enjoyed the Alexander Hamilton, Espresso Martini, Blackberry Whiskey Sour, and Drury Lane cocktails, which were all superb. But the Alexander Hamilton and the Drury Lane tied for two of the tastiest cocktails I’ve ever had. The vegetarian charcuterie board was delicious and satiating. Dimly lit yet casual lounge with indie chunes and cabin decor. Would highly recommend this place
Vegetarian options: Had an excellent vegetarian charcuterie board with olives, cauliflower bites, veggie slider patties, crackers, and pesto ??

There were 5 of us dining for lunch, and everyone’s food came out luke warm. We ordered the focaccia pizza, pretzel hot pocket, fish and chips, waygu burger and fingerling potatoes. The burger was the only thing worth eating. 3 out of 5 of us were sick afterwards. Also - warning, they don’t have ketchup to help with the over flavored fingerling potatoes.
Service and whiskey was good but I wouldn’t recommend for food.

This was our first time in Aspen and we liked the look of Stranahan's so we sat out front. Boris was our server and described the Stranahan's cocktails with good stories. I had the Old Fashioned Smoky and it had real smoke! The Rocky Mountain Game & Cheese Board was delicious. He also said bears walked around the area at night. We wondered if that was true until the next night we were walking around the area and we saw a bear!

I'm in town on vacation and have stumbled upon this location by coincidence. I was hungry and ready for a drink. I tried both the whiskey sour and the Rita likes whiskey and ordered the sliders and hot pocket which were all phenomenal. Great service, clean space and wonderful atmosphere overall. This was during the rugby match so I got to both enjoy lovely drinks and a great game all in one. Perfect location and fantastic vibes.

We tried (keyword: TRIED) to go here on Sunday. We got to the Stranahan’s in Denver all the time. This one doesn’t open until 12, which is fine, we knew, and waited. The man working there was opening the patio and was so rude. He was on his cellphone and got huffy when we asked if we could sit on the chairs alongside the building (not on the patio) while we waited for them to open- he did not like that even though it was 3 minutes until 12. As we stood there waiting the 3 minutes to open, he proceeded to talk to a friend who was passing by about finding his dishwasher passed out in the kitchen by then it was well past 12:15. Not once did he mention ‘hey guys we are running behind’ or ‘we are opening slightly later’, he just sat and talked to someone else and never opened the bar. We were looking forward to old fashions (Stranahan’s old fashions are the absolute best) but after being ignored and the purposeful pettiness we decided to leave.
We will try again because we know Stranhan’s in Denver is phenomenal. Maybe we will get lucky and ol boy won’t be working when we do.
