Terrible service, unfortunately. Was a guest at the hotel, came to the bar 3 times, will never return. So much attitude, terrible service, and awful cocktails. The bartenders couldn’t pour a beer and was so rude, or made really wrong cocktails - there are many other fun options in Aspen. Don’t waste your time or your $ (I love the hotel though)

Best espresso martinis in Aspen! We always had great service (visited 3x over our 5-day trip), and the fireplace/decor were inviting.

Beautiful bar and atmosphere. I had better service at other bars though.
A cocktail costs minimum $32 in December 2024. Cocktails starting at $24 plus 22% service charge applied and over 11% F&B tax.

2 of us recently stopped in for cocktails, knowing that they were going to be pricey. The atmosphere was beautiful, a great place to go and have a cocktail. However, the new trend was the automatic 22% tip added to our bill, I don't recall seeing it on the cocktail menu (but it may have been there in fine print). I had 2 classes of champagne; the first pour a little short for the glass and price - I think the male bartender did not want to open a new bottle; the second pour perfect. My partner had 2 old fashions and really they were not that spectacular (one tiny orange shave garnish) and the bartender was very busy entertaining two women that the second old fashion was made and poured quite a bit after my second cocktail was poured. The bar added $3.00 to the price of each old fashion ($36.00 so actual $39) they called it an "upcharge" but have no idea what that was for. Someone suggested it was because they put a big cube of ice in the drink; but the bartender never mentioned that there would be an additional charge for anything on the old fashion. He was not a mixologist. They added the 22% gratuity on the "upcharge" as well as the drinks. Be careful, not sure it was worth the price, you can go in and take a quick walk around and see the hotel without getting taken in secret.

At the Jerome Hotel. Stopped in for cocktails, and glad we did! All were well made and generous, both classics and imaginative originals. The decor is charming without being over the top, seating choices are varied and comfortable. Waitress attentive and helpful. Restroom is gorgeous! Did not eat, so no ratings for food, but what we saw looked good.

After super bowl game stopped by , this was by far best expirience so far. Bar was crowded so the room but the coctails hit the spot. Did not catch the bartenders name i think is Chris , so far best coctails this establishment had.

Me and my girlfriend had a great night at the bar last night. Bartender Kris was very entertaining and made us special coctails we never tried before. Great hospitality, great drinks, we will definitely be back!!!

The cocktails are good but not outstanding. The vibe is excellent though — comfy couches, a fireplace, and nice decor.

Love the attention to detail keeping alive the original spirit of Aspen. Sultry bar. Great cocktails. Wine by the bottle list has some hidden gems. Snacks menu including caviar. Can be a scene and the place to be during events like Food \\u0026 Wine Classic Aspen. Nice hideaway from the summer sun. Warm inviting moody lounge for the winter crowd. ? Auberge Resorts does a nice job here. Highly Recommend. Take extra time to explore the hotel and look at museum quality old western artifacts.

A beautiful historical cocktail lounge with upscale cocktails and service. Cocktails are $24++ The room is filled with memorabilia. It is in the hotel and the hotel contains a few other bars and restaurants.
The place maintains its charm over the years, the bar is really cozy and beautiful, the people is nice and there to just chill in unpretentious luxury.
On a recent trip to Aspen, my wife and I stopped in for early evening drinks at the Living Room at Hotel Jerome, and had a very nice experience. The bar is very cozy, with a relaxed but sophisticated feel, perfectly in line with the historic nature of the Hotel Jerome as a whole. When we visited for drinks at the Living Room, we actually intended to go to J Bar, the other bar in the hotel, but accidentally walked past it and ended up here. It looked perfectly cozy and just what we were looking for, so we had no problem checking out this bar instead. We were given a nice table with cozy armchairs for two, where we could see the roaring fire and take in ambiance. Our server was friendly and efficient at the beginning. However, I noticed that she was the only server for the entire Living Room, and especially as it filled up, she seemed overwhelmed and service slowed down a lot. They definitely could have used a second server, even though the bar was at 25% capacity for indoor dining while we were there. Between the two of us, we just had a glass of Sancerre and a Negroni for drinks, which were both good, in addition to trying their marinated olives and warm spiced nuts for snacks. The little snacks were really good, especially the nuts. Overall, other than service being a little slow due to understaffing, I really loved our experience getting drinks at the Living Room. Both the Hotel Jerome as a whole and this bar just have a perfect cozy Aspen feel that I loved.
My wife and I enjoyed lounging in The Living Room. It was a very cool scene inside the historic Hotel Jerome.
