Our server was Blake and she, along with her team, were very attentive to the point of quality service.
We started with the French onion soup. We weren't sure if the soup was going to be on the salty side, since most places serve it that way. But it wasn't salty at all. It had excellent flavor and lots of onions, just like it should be.
I tried the roasted chicken rubbed with a Moroccan spice. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. The pan jar was soooo good. Loved it.
My wife tried the salmon in a bag special. Again perfectly cooked and flavorful.
They have a beautiful outside patio like seating but it was too cold for the restaurant to use when we were there.

We stopped in Aspen for the night before heading to Maroon Bells and decided to try The Wild Fig after exploring the downtown restaurants.

The dining space was lovely, with a charming setup indoors and a beautiful patio where we enjoyed a magnificent June evening.

We shared some truffle fries, which were mostly tasty. My boyfriend ordered a New Fashioned, which he enjoyed. I, however, was very disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, expecting the delicate, buttery flavor that this dish is known for. Instead, the fish was firm and overly fishy—qualities that immediately suggested it was not fresh. At $64 for a very small portion, it was extremely underwhelming and frankly appalling to be served what tasted like an old piece of fish.

The atmosphere and service were nice, but the quality of my meal did not match the price point or reputation.

Just mid! Average to slightly below average food. Service was fine, nothing spectacular. Overpriced and under delivered. Not recommended, won’t be going back.

Bad food and bad service, closed the kitchen without saying anything and picked up my food while has in the middle of chewing and looking the other way.

Got the rack of lamb special they had, Tasted very gamey. No one that I went with liked their meal. My fiancé got a steak and he thought it was just okay. My mom got fish and thought it was average. None of our food was worth the money. We probably spent close to $600-800 on our dinner and it wasn’t good. The burrata was the best thing there but we asked for more bread for our appetizers to eat it with and they didn’t bring more bread out til our meal came which was like 30 minutes after we had gotten our apps. Cute restaurant though.

Good service and nice place but do not make the same mistake than us and order Italian in a French restaurant

Don’t know why they offer more Italian dishes than French for lunch but not the best

We ordered burrata and prosciutto , caccio e peppe pasta, and ravioli with lobster and anything was good

Didn’t order the tiramisu but amazed they have more Italian than French and the espresso machine was not working ! More than 400 usd for lunch for 2 pax

Food was good, and atmosphere and service were also good. Definitely worth visiting. The rating system on google is pretty inflated though, so everybody expects a 5-star rating, but this is obviously not a Michelin-star restaurant, so for us, this is a solid 4. But, if you are looking for good food, this seemed very good for us.

Wild Fig offers an exceptional Aspen dining experience, renowned for its meticulous preparation and commitment to quality. The whole fish, expertly cooked, was outstanding, complemented by perfectly prepared, crisp-tender asparagus. The restaurant provides excellent value, considering the high quality of food and service.
