Had an amazing time here. My wife and I came for some cocktails and a snack. I cannot recommend this place enough. The service was attentive and engaging. The drinks and steak tartar were fantastic. Lastly the atmosphere was perfect. They were busy but still maintained a great ambience and it wasn’t loud somehow either. If you are in the area make a stop by here and enjoy!

The appetizer plate (Greek spreads) was good but not great. My fig salad on the other hand was a great mix of flavors. My husband’s moules frites was a non standard style with coconut curry flavor he said was very good, but the fries were just ok, but we both prefer extra crispy so this may be great for most. We both had cocktails that were very nice.
The ambience is very romantic and I really liked the decor. Service was excellent.

FOOD POISONING!!!!
I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, the portion was quite small but that wasnt a huge deal since this tends to be the case with “high end” restaurants. I shared 1 of my 4 ravioli with my 1 year old son. A few hours later we get to our hotel room and i feel extremely nauseous and sick. I take some medicine and am able to fall asleep. A couple of hours later, I am woken up by my toddler profusely throwing up all over!!! This restaurant clearly doesn’t know how to handle seafood or maybe we were fed old lobster!! On top of that, we didnt order water at the restaurant. The waiter asked “would you like sparkling or still water?” To which we responded still. Since we never asked for this i assumed it was included and when our bill came we were charged $9 for one bottle of water! Stay away from this place!

Great food. Much better than French Alpine Bistro. Salad is fresh, veal is good, chicken is good and whole fish is great. Real food here

Had an amazing experience here when we came for a ski trip back in January 2023 so we were excited to come back during our stay this past weekend. However, that wasn’t the case this last visit. First the waiter told my husband he looked familiar and that he looked like he was someone who works as staff who help in the back. And even asked “are you sure you look familiar? You look like someone in the food business…” We tried to let it go but as a Hispanic that was pretty insulting. He should have just said he looked familiar and left it at that but instead of implying my husband was help in the food industry. WTH 🤦🏻♀️ Hispanic waiters are the best and harder workers. Do better next time.. unfortunately we won’t return
Lobster ravioli pasta was not cooked well. My husband was pretty done at that point. My lobster was super stuck to shell for my pasta too. Thankfully desert was good.
We chose it following the excellent reviews and for the particular type of menu. We received an appropriate service and we are quite honest in saying even very good food (that's why we give 2 and not 1), but the surprise came when we returned to Europe: not only did they charge us a totally discretionary tip (much higher than what we decided, receipts in hand), but when we contacted them to ask for explanations, they viewed the messages without a single word to answer. I wouldn't have expected it from a place of this level

A review of any restaurant in Aspen must be taken with a grain of salt when comparing it to comparable restaurants in other towns/cities given the general overpriced market that is Aspen now. The Wild Fig was no exception. It is a bit pretentious, and while the food was very good, it is difficult to rate it as being in the same category as other high end restaurants in other cities whose chefs have been James Beard winners or finalists. That said, the food was very good and the service excellent. We started with an onion soup and the Fig Salad. The broth of the onion soup was a bit thin, not as beefy as most. The Fig Salad was excellent. One of us had the beef taratare, which was good. The other main was the Alaskan halibut, pan seared over an artichoke and cauliflower mash. Unfortunately, the halibut was a bit overcooked - the mash was excellent. All in all, we were pleased with the meal, even though it was about 15-20% more expensive than comparable restaurants in other U.S. cities. We recommend it, just do not expect value.

Absolutely incredible meal! Some of the best flavors you will find anywhere. Thanks for a terrific night!
The food was excellent. We were a party of 6. We had the beef tartare, fig salad, fish in a bag(snapper) & scallops. Nice wine list. I have 4 stars for service because it became a little lacking. He apologized & said he got slammed. Our biggest issue was the music. It was so loud! People actually started clapping when a song ended and we had some silence & could actually hear each other’s conversation.

Wow! Most enjoyable dinner I've had in Aspen in a long while. Mark, our server, made us feel at home instantly. The service was perfectly paced. There were 5 of us. We did a thorough sampling of the menu. Every morsel was perfect! And the cost seemed well within what you'd expect for a comparable meal anywhere, but downright reasonable by Aspen standards. By all means, go!

Best Veal and pasta I’ve had!
We've been going to the Fig for either Xmas or NYE dinner for almost 20 years. One of our favorite intimate dinner destinations in Aspen. Service is top notch. Great hummus. Branzino, fish of the day, or fish in a bag is always a winner, so are the Wild Fig Frites. Even if you sit at the bar the service is friendly and memorable. Don't ever close!
