Amazing experience at Wayan!
The cocktails were inventive, the small plates were tasty, and the main courses were exceptional! Would recommend the lobster noodles and beef goreng to anyone.
Thanks for the amazing dinner!

Went to prix fixe, wine paired dinner. Wine pairing was either $30 or $60, decided at the dinner table. Fun, friendly atmosphere, but the dinner took forever. Single platter for two people seemed like food for one, not two. Fried chicken was the primary component. Although the outside was battered and fried, the inside was raw. On a TV cooking show, that would have been a disqualifying event. Seems like they still have some work to do.

This was a perfect evening. Everyone in our party of 7 was blown away by how delicious each dish was — and all of us started debating mid-meal if this was the best restaurant we’ve ever been to. Vibes/decor were also 10/10 and the service was fantastic.

Wayan Aspen is an outstanding restaurant where everything is done right. The food is full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection — you can truly taste the passion in every bite. The lobster noodles and satay skewers are incredible highlights. The service is friendly, attentive, and professional, and the atmosphere is warm, elegant, and relaxing, perfect for any occasion. Without a doubt, Wayan Aspen delivers one of the best dining experiences in town. Highly recommended!

Simply amazing!
Personable and welcoming staff, a meticulously curated ambiance, and absolutely delicious food... by all measures, this was a world class dining experience.
Every dish stood out in its own way; great ingredients with complex flavors, and perfect technique. Everything was phenomenal, but I would recommend the lamb satay, nasi goreng, and pork ribs the most - as well as the Ube sundae dessert!
We got to enjoy a few Aspen restaurants on our trip, and Wayan is very much a gem. In a town where excellence is advertised on every corner, they really, really hit the mark for what an incredible restaurant should be, without any shortcuts or compromises.
Highly recommend sitting at the chefs counter too, if you want to observe the magic (and the fire) up close!

Aspen never ceases to amaze me. Wayan is exceptional — authentic, creative, and full of flavor. The food was outstanding, the cocktails inventive and delicious, and the wine list clearly curated with care. The restaurant itself is beautiful, offering an atmosphere that transports you straight to Bali.
Service was top-notch. We were celebrating our anniversary and were immediately greeted with congratulations and glasses of champagne. Our server, Paige, was attentive, polished, and highly professional.
A truly wonderful experience — one of Aspen’s very best.

Food, service, and ambience were very much on point during our visit. No complaints and only praise. The sashimi, octopus, and Lombok were very delicious and memorable. Lots of gluten free options as well. Can’t wait to return next time we’re in Aspen.

Worth it. Not the most expensive place in Aspen but still $100/per person easy. Loved it though for a special occasion and not super stuffy/pretentious. Just delicious. Good service. Beautiful atmosphere and music but still easy to hear each other. The fritter was bomb!!! And the chicken satay 🤤

A heavily decorated restaurant with excellent food and service.
Dishes are pricey and portions are not huge, but the flavors are terrific and the service top-notch.
I enjoyed the steamed black Seabass as well as the mushroom medley (which is their vegan dish) and amazingly satisfying.

My crab cake was barely cooked- not crispy or well formed at all. And it was completely cold around the edges from sitting underneath the heater for so long. So gross. I was sitting at the bar with a clear view of where the plates came out and some would sit there for 10 minutes without being ran. Ridiculous service and horrible food for such a pricey restaurant.

An outstanding addition to Aspen dining.
Every dish was uniquely flavorful.
From the lamb satay, to the delicious grill octopus.
We also tried the tartar and the baked sea bass.
All great for sharing...
Interesting cocktails and the decor is so inviting and different, truly a winner!
