The cook overcooked my omelet and it smelt terrible. I turned it away and got nothing but attitude for the ineptitude of the cook

The restaurant owner appeared to take our negative feedback personally, rather than address the issues raised. Expect a phone call if you leave a bad review!!!

We had people come in after us that were getting service and they were about to take another parties order that came in after us until we asked them to order. Food was good but will not return. Hopefully they learn to treat each customer the same. I also had a call from the owner for posting a negative review. Taking some comments out due to the phone call but this has now made it to where we will NEVER return.

If I could give negative stars for our server, I would. She was super unprofessional. We sent back an order because it was inedible and she got short with us. She did not check on our table once, but she checked on all of her other tables. She made sure to sit with her friends though (during her shift) and refilled their drinks while checking on her other tables.

We stopped in to eat brunch with good friend well we waited for the Big Boy Steam Engine 4014 go through Ault Colorado. Omgosh this is the best place to go eat if you’re driving through Ault! Delicious home cooked food along with their green chili, excellent customer service, friendly atmosphere and the best and biggest cinnamon rolls ever! We will definitely stop in to eat at Gray’s Cafe when we are traveling through Ault! ❤️

This place is a bit sad, at least if you take food seriously: no real butter, no bottled/purified water, no real maple syrup, and no fresh cream. I opted to leave without eating most of my food, since I did not want trans fats, sugary drinks, or town tap water.

Visited Gray’s Café in Ault, Colorado, last week on a friend’s recommendation for breakfast, and as a breakfast lover, I can say it did not disappoint! ? From the classic breakfast staples to their incredible pastries (seriously, don’t miss the cinnamon rolls! ?), everything was absolutely delicious. I only wish I had more room to try it all! ?

The service was spot on—super friendly, quick, and attentive, even though the café was buzzing with other happy customers. ?‍♂️ The cozy atmosphere and charming decor make it the perfect little breakfast spot. ?

If you love breakfast like I do, this place is a must-visit when you’re in the area. ?? Pro tip: Come hungry because you’ll want to sample everything on the menu. Trust me! ?
