“I have been there a few times but our last visit on August 6 was the ultimate. Our server was delightful. She kept us amused to say the least. She was very obliging and accommodating. I had the Fi and Chi. From experience I knew it would be too much food so I asked that if I could have just one piece. I was served a very generous portion at a reduced rate. They did a few sides for my husband because they had run out of the mash. Again they went above to accommodate.
I have to go back to our server. She was simply amazing but, alas, I forget her name. I am sure you would know her if you ever met her. She was just naturally funny and enjoyed her job.
Bonus! The manager came out with a raspberry torte on the house!
I always said Denver was a once in a lifetime experience for us but we were there twice in 10 months from Newfoundland. I think there will be another visit in our future. God willing.“

“We were craving a tasty snack and finding this place made our day! They have an incredible variety of options, from popsicles and ice cream to fruit cups loaded with chamoy and Tajín. We were honestly blown away by all the choices and are already excited to go back.

The Food:
We ended up getting five different things, including an elote en vaso (corn in a cup) and some ice cream. I can't remember the exact flavor of ice cream I chose, but it was delicious and hit the spot on such a hot day. Their selection is huge! They have unique flavors like guava, guanábana, arroz con leche, and so much more. I definitely want to try one of their popsicles or another ice cream flavor on my next visit.

Atmosphere & Customer Service:
The atmosphere here is great, but what really made the experience stand out was the customer service. The woman working there was incredibly helpful, sweet, and patient with us while we looked at all the options. It’s a welcoming, clean spot that just puts you in a good mood.

Overall:
We spent around $27 to $30 total for all five items. Compared to other snack and ice cream shops, I felt like we got a really good amount of food for what we paid. The portions are generous and the quality is definitely there.

“OMG!! This business !!! From my first phone call to my last contact I have been so impressed and satisfied. I am from Chicago and was planning a family event in Denver. Genna Rae’s was recommended by my cousins in Denver for their wings . So I called and placed my order with the most pleasant and helpful Ms KK . Then when another caterer fell thru at the last minute I. Called and spoke with Ms KK again and she said “ absolutely” we can help . Let me tell you … the Wings, greens, red/beans with rice, cat fish nuggets and yams were talked about with glee by my family the whole weekend . Best service and food I have eaten .
