Izote Kitchen is a restaurant serving excellent and authentic food, located in a mall near the entrance to the left of Macy's. The atmosphere is nice, sometimes busy and sometimes quiet, but always welcoming. It feels like one of those spots you’re glad you stumbled across, even if it is a little out of the way.

The food is fresh, delicious, and satisfying. Many highlight the pupusas as the best they have had, with specific praise for the mixed pupusas, al pastor pupusa, queso con loroco pupusa, and frijol con queso. The smothered burrito with al pastor is huge for the price. Other standout items include the very good asada tacos, a tasty crepe, and delicious steak and cheese fries. The rice and beans also receive praise, with the refried beans described as dark and surprisingly tasty and the rice as thicker and more filling. Drink options like the watermelon drink with strawberry popping boba and both Mexican and Salvadoran horchata are appreciated. A bucket of curtido and delicious, varied salsas are also noted.

The service is amazing and super sweet, offering full sit-down level service after ordering at the counter. The owners are super nice and the food comes out quickly, often made to order. Prices are good, with special deals mentioned. It is a highly recommended spot worth the trip.
