“The food here is great. Their galbee was amazing, tasted great and was super tender. They also had a good variety of banchan which was alright. We got 2 of their soups which also tasted pretty good as well. The server was sweet and explained to us how to use the sauces and such and made sure to check up on us periodically to see if we needed anything. The only complaint i had was that I ordered o-Sam bulgogi and while it tasted good, 75% of it was onions which was quite disappointing“

“I’ve be coming here for really good Korean food! They are fast to greet you and have amazing hospitality! This was my second time here and I definitely have no regrets. My favorite items on the menu are Katsu and the JJAM Bong and Ja Jang Myeon! All options are really good and you can’t go wrong with any choices! Today I met Juyi and she was the sweetest and so kind! I will continue going here and bringing family and friends as well! 💜“

“M Mart is more than just a Korean grocery store to me — it feels like a small piece of Korean history in Colorado.

The owner came to Colorado about 40 years ago, and knowing that history makes this place feel even more special. You can tell that M Mart has been part of the Korean community here for a very long time.

Even though Denver has bigger Korean markets like H Mart, I always make a point of stopping by M Mart whenever I’m in Colorado. Before heading back to Utah, I usually stock up on Korean food, snacks, drinks, and other favorites that are harder to find back home.

The prices are very reasonable, the quality is good, and there’s something warm and nostalgic about shopping here that you don’t always get from a large chain store.

For me, visiting M Mart has become a little tradition whenever I come to Denver. I hope this local Korean market continues to be part of the Colorado community for many more years.

“I’ve been here a couple of times and the food has been pretty much amazing every single time. This place got me into Korean food after I checked it out after one of my friends recommended to me. Their spicy beef soup is actually amazing and I would 100% recommend it. Their pork neck is also really tender and tastes great and is good for probably 3 or more people. The atmosphere is nice and it’s really clean as well. You can tell this place is good because this place always has people with plenty of other Koreans here. They also help you pack up your leftovers if you need to and are pretty helpful“

“No-frills place that serves yummy jokbal! The difference between the large and jumbo size platter is only $5 so we decided to size up. Needless to say, I was absolutely stuffed. The jokbal was chewy and there was plenty of meat. I personally prefer the meat over the collagen so I was extremely satisfied because other restaurants tend to skimp out on the meat. Banchan was diverse and delicious. The owner was sweet and checked up on us frequently. I would definitely return if I’m back in Denver.“

“Food is decent for what it is. This restaurant offers dosirak, a packaged lunch. They have a couple of rotating menu items each day which includes meat, rice and side dishes. Price is around 12 to 15 bucks. The restaurant does have other a la carte dishes which are posted on a hand written menu board. If you know what to order, it's definitely better to order over the phone before arriving at the restaurant.“

“We just tried The Porklet for the first time, and WOW!! What an incredible experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely exceptional. Everyone was so warm, attentive, and welcoming, and you could genuinely tell how much pride they take in what they do.

And the food? Top-notch. Every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.

“This is the best jajangmyeon I’ve tried so far—and I’ve tried quite a few! The noodles have a great chewy texture, and the whole dish is flavorful without being overly heavy. Price is very reasonable for what you get. It’s a simple, casual spot, but the jajangmyeon really stands out.“

“I ordered a vegetarian dish. Excellent! They adjusted the spiciness of my dish, since I am not used to super spicy food and yet the dish was amazing. The service was very professional. Music was not loud. Parking was available. We went during lunch time, very affordable even after the tip. We will come back.“

“My wife and I are longtime fans of Korean BBQ and have enjoyed it at restaurants throughout both the United States and South Korea. This visit stood out as particularly memorable. Our party of six selected a combination meal that included a variety of meats, vegetables, soup, side dishes, and beverages. One member of our group, a talented cook, volunteered to manage the grilling, which added to the experience.

Every dish was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience place this restaurant among the very best Korean restaurants we have visited. “So, I came from California, where there is AMAZING Korean food. If I were there I would probably give this place 3 stars. However, this is probably the best Korean I found around this area so far, so I I’m giving it 4 stars. I got the beef tofu stew. The flavor was pretty good (although not California level), but there was very little beef in the soup. Less than normal. Also, the egg, that is normally part of this dish, was an extra charge ($0.75). I asked to get next to the stew the tradicional Korean purple rice, and there were only a couple of grains that make it purple, so most of the rice was just plain white rice. The good thing was that they brought it in one of those simmering hot dishes, so it got that crunchy sides that are really good. As for the sides - the kimchi was really good, and so were the cucumbers. The fish cakes were a bit dry, and there was also a plain lettuce salad with some thousand island dressing on it - I don’t know how that relates to the Korean food, but that’s ok. The side dishes were generous in portion, and they give one free refill on them.“

“Tried many different rice cakes and all were the perfect texture and delicious. Rice cakes are made fresh daily. A good selection is readily available or you can call to order ahead. They can cater traditional rice cakes for celebrations like 100 day parties and 1st birthdays. Very friendly owners and great customer service.“

“True hidden gem. 💎 Best Kimchi I have ever tried. There are so manir varieties of kimchi. The owner was so courteous and attentive. They just expanded next door and it’s such a wonderful store with ready to eat items, Korean skin care products, candy and more, sitting area too. I got some acne pads which were amazing. Also got a Gimbap which was sooo delicious. If you want to try something delicious, visit this store and give it a try. I forgot to take pictures. I’ll be back to try more delicious thing.“

“I like Mr. Kim BBQ. I love the variety of side dishes along with the appetizers. I think the meats are great too. The only thing that I think may need improvement is the service. The servers are nice but they can be short staffed which makes it go slow a bit. And it’s natural to order multiple things at AYCE places so it may impact the experience a bit. But the servers do try their best despite their situation. Overall, I like this place.“

“The food here is great!! The scallops are my favorite, but they haven’t had them recently so I’ve been getting the shrimp, which are really good too. The sides are my favorite part though, so delicious and you can have as many as you want. My husband and friends say that the beef and pork options are really good too. We find the service can be hit or miss and sometimes you have to flag someone down to get refills on the sides, but it’s worth it for how delicious everything is. Definitely a fun and delicious place to eat, we always leave stuffed and satisfied!“
