We loved going because the food is fantastic. But 3 of the last 4 times we have gone our wait time was well over an hour and the latest time we we're sat and then ignored for over 15 minutes with several staff walking by and only acknowledging us as we got up to leave.

Sushi Totoro, all things considered, does a really good job. From what I've seen over years of going here, most people are doing all-u-can-eat, and the kitchen is working fast all the time. Very rarely have we had any concerns with service and if we did, its because they are just all working hard. The bathroom could definitely use a little better caring for, but that aside, we plan to continue going here for years to come! Great place to go if very hungry, or if you have friends in town.

The sushi and everything else here is the best! The all you can eat is definitely worth the price.

I hate to do this but my boyfriend and I came here Friday night for date night, was a little busy but nothing crazy. We got sat and didn’t get greeted for quite some time. There was one younger waitress working and another guy who seemed to be only taking care of the back of the restaurant (he had maybe two tables) while the younger waitress had the entire front of restaurant which was pretty much full 🫣. I could see she was struggling and trying her best, but it took us probably 20 minutes to get our drinks and then another 45 minutes or so to get our food. The issue with this was that we saw the food ready to be taken to us at the counter sitting there for quite some time before it was brought to us. We sat at the two top table right in front of the sushi bar. The chefs would ding the bell like 5 times to get her attention, it was quite frustrating. The food quality has definitely gone downhill, rice fell apart right away. Soy sauce was definitely watered down. After coming here for years and years we unfortunately won’t be back. The new owners need to figure it out. 😭.

I have been coming here for 4 years now. I loved the staff, the environment, and the food. My most recent visit (yesterday) was disappointing. I walked in was seated quick and ordered my AYCE. The starters were burnt or overcooked. Sushi rice did not stick at all. It took over 30mins just to get someone over to pay the bill. Overall wont be going back. Miss the old staff. Rest in Peace Sushi Totoro

This literally breaks my heart to write this review. Don't go here, please. We have frequented Sushi Totoro for the last few years and entered the resturant tonight and knew that something was off. We were promptly served our AYCE sushi and other assorted dishes to be disappointed by the quality. The sushi was falling to pieces under my chopsticks and the food that is heated up was microwave. Not to mention, I watched and employee ON THE SUSHI line eat something with his bare hand and proceeded to continue working. If that doesn't make you steer clear of whatever new management or staff turnover is happening here, your standards are rock bottom.

Watered down soy sauce, fish vendor no good and rice wouldn't stick together. They find anyway to stay cheap so disappointing.

We have been coming here for years, literally since they opened and have loved the all you can eat menu. In the last several months its obvious they have changed hands and like most cases things have changed and not for the better, many of the items are now prepared ahead of time and come out dry and cold and even chewy. The Nigiri pieces are now even smaller, Even the famous Totoro roll has slipped, will give it another chance to see if they can get back to their previous high standard.

Great all you can eat sushi, but the service is AWFUL. The younger female server ignored us, never filled our drinks, didn't even take away empty plates. We had to ask the manager for another AYCE menu to order more sushi, and she was rude as well. We've had decent service before, but tonight SUCKED. Also, why are we watering down the soy sauce???

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was extremely poor. We waited over an hour and never received our nigiri pieces at all. When the baked mussels, monkey brain, and edamame finally arrived, everything was cold.

At one point, the waitress asked how our food was. We told her we were still waiting on our order. she seemed to have no sense of urgency to resolve the issue. She simply said “okay” and continued walking around the restaurant filling drinks and handing out reorder papers. About 30 minutes later, she asked again how the food was and if we needed anything else, and once again our response was that we were still waiting on our food. During this time, we could see the kitchen staff joking and messing around, which gave the impression that the delays were not due to the restaurant being overly busy, just poor management from the new owners.

For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, these long wait times completely defeat the purpose. The staff seemed uninterested in addressing the delays, and there was no communication or apology for the poor service.

We’ve been going to Sushi Totoro for years, but this experience ensured it will be our last. Would not recommend.

As solid as a sushi spot can get. All inspired by the Studio Ghibli film My Neighbor Totoro, which is on clear display when you walk in. Cozy atmosphere, prices are very fair, good quality food.
