I wanted to love it but 3/4 of my drink was just ice… for $7 you’d expect somewhat moneys worth. I got the Brown Sugar Deerioca Milk boba and it tasted like straight up whole milk…the boba itself was sweet and yummy. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place tho.
My family LOVES this place and we get the Ube Milk Tea and they always make it great, not this time, there was only 1 person doing the orders and the place was full and I've seen how they make the boba tea and my daughter asked for extra creme brulee and it was less than normal amount and they didn't put boba balls in it and it tastes like green tea nothing like the ube, when I go there's only 1 or 2 employees in a full place, and we paid over 10$ for bobas that weren't even made well! GET MORE EMPLOYMENT AND MAKE SURE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE MAKING!
My family and I have given this place a couple tries, but it’s been a disappointment everytime. The last straw for my was this drink today, I tried the creme brûlée deerioca cafe latte with boba, and I substituted oatmilk. However, there are large chunks of what seem like spoiled milk, and I’ve never seen oatmilk do this. I had this last time to a smaller extent, but it was with soy milk and I have seen it happen when soy milk doesn’t get shaken so I was sable to pass that one off. This drink I can’t even stomach to finish unfortunately.
I got the brown sugar deerioca crème brûlée and it mostly tasted like milk with a whisper of flavor. I should have listened to the other reviews. Management will reply asking for another chance but they won’t get one, I’m going back to kung fu.
I was disappointed by their serving sizes and lack of consistency. I was told that for a no-ice drink, I would need to pay the full-size price to receive only 4/5 of a cup. Despite this, I ordered two drinks: one with less ice and one with no ice. To my surprise, the “less ice” drink was filled to about 4/5 of the cup, which was already frustrating. However, the “no ice” drink was even worse—it was barely half full! I ended up canceling my second drink due to this unacceptable situation.
It’s nonsensical to charge full price for what amounts to half a drink just because there’s no ice. When ordering “less ice” or “no ice,” the expectation is that the cup will be filled with the actual drink, not left half-empty. This practice feels like the shop is cutting corners at the expense of their customers.
I have never encountered this situation at other boba shops. I do not recommend this place.
Last time I went here was in November 2024. We ordered The Trio Milk Tea and a Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk. The "TRIO" milk tea is supposed to include a "TRIO" of toppings (boba, coconut jelly, and konjac jelly) like the name implies. I received my drink and it was empty except for ice and milk tea that doesn't even reach close to the top of the cup. When the cashier was questioned, she stated that's how it is now, toppings are extra, and the drink is basically a milk tea. That doesn't make any sense. I overpaid for a falsely advertised milk tea?
The Brown Sugar Deerioca Creme Brulee Milk used to be a decadent drink, a real treat to have once in a while. This time it was watered down and lacked the guilty pleasure it once carried.
Not sure if it's this location or the brand overall but quality has deteriorated. Like other reviewers, my past orders have had toppings forgotten from the drink. I reached out to The Alley's social media page to ask if there truly was a change to their Trio Milk Tea and received a reply back saying they would forward my message to their team but not a single word since. Don't come here. There are better options out there.
The kid with the curly hair did a pretty poor job making our drinks. It tasted watered down and didn't seem blended enough because it was just chunks of brown sugar.
Drinks are great! Sometimes the wait times can take a while when it’s busy but other than that, the service is great.
I was on my break for lunch and I decided to get a boba and saw that there was a boba shop down the street in Southlands. I saw the reviews and was so excited to try it out.
To my disappointment, as I walked in there was only one person working and she was not pleasant at all. She seemed as if she did not like working there and I just came in at noon on 12/26.
I ordered the brown sugar crème brûlée boba and it genuinely tasted like whole milk. There was no flavor what so ever. I basically paid $8 for a cup of milk!
This place was definitely a let down. I do not recommend, unless the staff do better on how they make their drinks :/
Waited an hour for two drinks. Only one girl working. Feel really bad for her!! Where's the manager?? Overall, very disappointed.

Love this place. The boba is delicious. I would have given five stars but one downfall. They got rid of the smaller size boba drink. I can't finish a full size boba which makes it a waste.

Consistently delicious, always ready quickly and with great customer service. It’s definitely the best boba around!
Super cute little boba shop, super cozy inside and the staff is very friendly. Plus it's got deer as a logo, that's the best kind of logo!
