I don’t know what it is with the Gaylord staff but they refuse to help or provide service. Who lets people sit for 20+ minutes without even acknowledging them…at a bar stool. It was only when we got up to leave that they started to ask if we wanted to order. From what menu? No one gave us anything.

Chill vibes and management and staff were so nice. We got the fish and chips which were really good. But the star was the strawberry shortcake.

I had the best dining experience! Got super lucky and was seated at the bar with Chris being the bartender. He made a cucumber lime and mint martini that was unbelievably delicious!!! We named it the Christini- and I bet if you asked him for it he would know exactly what you are talking about lol. Great vibes, good food. Definitely enjoyed this restaurant.

Food was ok at best. The servers seemed constantly overwhelmed and somehow with empty tables and seats at the bar still had over an hour wait for two. Either wildly unprepared for conferences with large groups of people or mismanaged.

Best Eggs Benedict I have ever had. They sure know their hollandaise sauce!

We took our Mother for a birthday dinner. She resided in Scotland for 2 years, and was craving sticky toffee pudding. Three of us ordered Fish and Chips and Cottage Pie. Every dish was an absolute delight! And the sticky pudding…. Perfection according to Mother!!!
Everything from the hosts to visit from management was exceptional! The atmosphere is purely British!
I recommend requesting TYLER as your server. I’ve been a server for many years, and often wish I could teach servers…. Tyler needs no classes! ? Our drinks were refreshed in a timely matter, she checked on us just the right amount of times, knew the menu, and was an absolute delight!
We definitely will be back ! I can’t wait to try the Mushroom Pot Pie!

So we split an omelette, waffle, fruit, and potatoes and that was the perfect amount for two people who lift.?
The vibe is chill, but the aesthetic is interesting. I personally don’t know why they went through all the renovation for it to look like a home in the 70s, but if you like it— I love it?
The service was really solid and our waiter helped us make informed decisions, so that was overall solid.
One random thing to be aware of is they are a cashless institution, so be prepared for that. Our server worked it out, but that’s an unnecessary hurdle if you ask me… especially with already having to pay to park in some capacity.
Parking: Depending on the day, parking may vary. Typically though, it’s fine.

Shubham was an EXCELLENT server/bartender. We had the Tikka Marsala and the Fish & Chips, along with the Sticky Toffee Pudding...everything was better than expected.

My daughter and I had several meals here last weekend. Breakfasts were excellent; dinner fare mixed. Cottage (shepherd's) pie was pretty good, and the fish&chips were satisfying, but the flavorless mushroom pot pie was a disappointment. We both agree that the kitchen does a fine job with potatoes in every variant.

I can really appreciate a place that puts a lot of effort into the presentation of their menu. This one was done up like an old timey newspaper at a little story woven through it.
The food and service were good and they keep very long hours - from breakfast all the way through to late night.
If you're at the gaylord and want something heartier to kick off your day, this is definitely worth it.

Our family birthday dinner at The Fortunate Prospector was absolutely incredible! Our family of 18 people of all ages were attended to by spectacularly skilled, kind and cheerful servers who made sure we all had a great time. The food and drinks were superb and the open-air ambience of the patio where we were located was ideal for our group. A perfect place for a lively birthday celebration!
Dietary restrictions: We were very pleased to know that there were plenty of menu selections that met with my grandson's sesame restriction.
Kid-friendliness: We arrived to The Fortunate Prospector for our family birthday celebration dinner with 7 children from ages 1 to 14. They loved the food and had so much fun with the servers who were just delightful with everyone.
