I brought my family in last Sunday night and it was an overall horrible experience. Our waitress was amazing, she has waited on us before and we've always appreciated her for taking great care of us regardless of the condition of the restaurant (other staff). We tend to come Sundays late afternoon/ early evening and she is always spread too thin yet maintains a calm demeanor and kind attitude. In the middle of our dinner last Sunday one of the cooks was throwing a fit in the kitchen, yelling at our waitress and the younger girl helping her bag pickup orders. He was physically throwing pots and pans, yelling belligerent obscenities like a mad fool and making everyone in the dining room uncomfortable. His behavior was absolutely inappropriate, especially given that their kitchen is open to the dining room, and even more so that this isn't the first time we've seen this behavior from him. I am truly traumatized. With his attitude, I wouldn't be surprised if he has stuck his hairy balls in the Crawfish Stew. This place has horrible management and has for some time. I remember coming here for the first time a few years ago before covid, that was the last good experience I've had here. We will not be back and if the "higher up" is reading this- fix these issues before you lose your restaurant.

From the perspective of someone who looooooves Louisiana culture and food, we really appreciate how well the food is prepared at Lost Cajun. The chicken and sausage gumbo and the begneits are especially top notch. Cold Abita beer, fried catfish like the stuff I grew up on, seafood gumbo, there is a big menu and it’s all good. Our server, Rose, has been terrific every visit, she really works hard to make every visit fun and manages the food timing really well every time we’ve been there, a very much appreciated skill considering it can get quite busy at times. Great option before or after a movie at Southlands.

Great food and great service! The red beans and rice are to die for! Bergyn is the best! Thank you for always taking care of our family!

We had a group of eight ladies out for lunch. Only one lady had been there previously but for the rest of us it was the first time. I love how they provided a sample tray to help us decide what to order. Our server was excellent putting up with all of us. My lobster bisque was delicious and I ordered fried cat fish and shrimp--very good! We will return another time!

It has been FOREVER since i had to write a negative review. This place should be shut down for serving undercooked poultry. I specifically asked the (already rude) lady on the phone to make it well done or cooked more than normal and instead it seems it’s not even cooked at all. I couldn’t even bite through the chicken ?Avoid this location at all costs.

I was bummed they were too busy to bring a sampler platter of the gumbo's, because it was my husband's first time trying it. He'd heard me going on and on about all the different flavors and didn't get to try any except for ordering a whole bowl. The staff said they were too busy which we understood but then the table right next to us got one. Bummed but the food was still good.Chicken Alfredo was very clean and simple tasting, fried shrimp and catfish were not overcooked, and the tartar sauce was always delicious

Great Cajun restaurant, they gave us a sampler platter of their jambalaya and gumbo. All of the food was delicious and reminded us of being in New Orleans.

Saw on trip advisor. Thought I’d give it a try. Was totally impressed! Food was incredible. Rose the waitress was on point gave great recommendations on dinner. Will be back to try more. Also if you’ve never been in tell them, you’ll get a small tester of menu items.

An amazing restaurant with amazing food. It may make a health nut sick with all the grease of deep fried foods but for those who aren't pathetic you will love it here!! Everything on the menu is delicious and the samplers they bring are amazing to give a taste of what you get. I love it here it's worth a try if ur in the area 10/10

Pretty solid place to eat I get a pretty good helping on the shrimp plate it only comes with fries and you don't get a drink but the place is pretty good.

I would give this 10 stars if I could. We were seated promptly and our waitress asked if we had ever been before. Sadly for us, we hadn’t. They brought us a sampler platter (which we were not expecting) and we got to try some gumbos and jambalaya before we ordered. We ended up ordering jambalaya, the voodoo pasta and hush puppies. Good stars all around. It was delicious. We had no less than 3 staff members check on us. They were attentive but not overbearing. The vibes were immaculate. Background jazz and fun New Orleans themed decor made for a fun and laidback atmosphere.Go here. Right now.
