Can't really speak for the food, we were only here for the Karaoke. To echo what some of the other reviews have said, the sound system echoes in the rooms, they only have YouTube (not YouTube premium so enjoy your ads), and it's super expensive.
I had a lot of fun with the karaoke aspect, but it had very little to do with the setup and I figure I can do it at home and save myself some money. 130$ ish for 2 hours/6 people. For that price I'll just buy speakers. The staff was very friendly though and I'm sure the food is fine, but I'm allergic to gluten and they don't have any gluten free options so we didn't try the food.
Overall pretty disappointing.

U & I BBQ Karaoke: A Mixed Bag of Fun and Frustration
U & I BBQ Karaoke definitely offers a unique and potentially entertaining experience, but it comes with some significant caveats. My recent Tuesday night visit provided a glimpse into both the highs and lows of this establishment.
The "fun" aspect is undeniable. Belting out your favorite tunes in a private room with friends is always a good time. However, the experience is severely hampered by one major oversight: they rely on YouTube for their karaoke music, and they don't provide YouTube Premium. This means you'll be subjected to a barrage of ads unless you, like me, happen to have a free trial or a personal subscription. It's frankly shocking that a karaoke venue wouldn't invest in ad-free music for their customers.
Beyond the ad issue, the sound system was disappointingly subpar. The two speakers were noticeably out of sync, creating a slightly disorienting echo effect. This, coupled with the uncontrollable strobe lights, made for a somewhat chaotic and less-than-ideal karaoke atmosphere. It felt more like a low-budget nightclub than a comfortable karaoke room. Also, the room's temperature fluctuated wildly, going from sweltering hot to uncomfortably cold within short periods.
The food was adequate, but nothing to write home about. We ordered the crab wontons, which I'd rate a solid 6/10. They were decent, but not particularly memorable.
The saving grace of our visit was the Tuesday night special, which offered a fixed price of $20 per person. This was a much more palatable option than their regular hourly rates, which seem significantly overpriced considering the overall quality of the experience.
In summary:
* Pros: Fun atmosphere, private rooms, Tuesday night special is a good deal.
* Cons: Reliance on ad-filled YouTube, subpar sound system, uncontrollable strobe lights, inconsistent room temperature, mediocre food.
If you're willing to overlook the technical shortcomings and bring your own YouTube Premium (or tolerate ads), U & I BBQ Karaoke can be a fun night out with friends, especially on a Tuesday. However, be prepared for a less-than-polished experience.

This shit was BOMB. Best food I’ve had in Denver. You gotta try the intestine (I stg), the coriander beef and the oysters and the eggplant.
Simply incredible. And karaoke if you’re feeling it too.

Food and Drinks are excellent! So fresh and tasty.
Service was friendly, and staff were on top of all our questions and requests.
The Karaoke room is so much fun and you get to play DJ and enjoy the time with your own personal group.

- Youtube Ads
- Glitchy Sound System
- Room Temp Control
- Cheap Setup
They were helpful with food and it came out well cooked. That's pretty much where the good ends as far as a wholesome experience goes.
The room was at 81 Fahrenheit when we first stepped in, then it dropped to 68, and then back up to 78. It was either sweaty, musty hot or cold, no 72 degree standard found here.
Then the sound system was glitching and buzzed really loudly, so we had to wait a few minutes there for them to fix it.
No youtube premium... when we asked if we were still going to be charged full price even though we had to sit through 30 second ads every time we played a song, he said we had to pay for our own YouTube premium account and sign in ourselves. Paid 300 for our time there; im sure they can afford premium. This is the main focus of the business and it's the biggest flaw.
The iPad is hooked up via USBc to the TV so you can't queue or let people queue songs from their seat. Imagine paying 300 for 2 hours, and having to sit thru ads, sound system malfunctioning, and bipolar room temps. Could've done this at home lowkey.
Service was aight.

Been here twice. The karaoke controls are not in English, very out-of-date system, and confusing and buggy to navigate. For our second visit I made my own YouTube playlist ahead of time since their English catalog is very small and outdated. It made me wonder why not just get a microphone and load up YouTube at a friend's house instead. You have to leave the room to place any food/drink orders and the service is slow, so you will miss out on time with your friends while waiting to order. Sound proofing for the rooms is bad so you can hear the singing from other rooms. Food was just ok, lots of fried stuff. Really hope my friends don't ask me to come back here.

The karaoke experience was mid. In this day and age, ANYONE can get a few iPads and TV screens/speakers and airplay SingKing on Youtube. What makes karaoke worth the hassle of $$/hour is the ability to 1. queue music (so as not to waste time) 2. easy controllable sound system 3. service
This place lacks in those 3 areas. Worst part that really tanked the Karaoke experience is that this establishment is too cheap to pay for YouTube membership. Queuing music is NOT possible. So you have to have a member of the party just sitting up by the iPad and controlling it. PLUS the iPad is docked with a usb/hdmi so you can't even take it back to your seat... Hopefully someone in your group just hates karaoke and doesn't mind sitting up there the whole time to dj.
Not to mention the screen cuts out every 2 minutes when in full screen mode. Extremely inconvenient so you can't even finish the song before the screen goes to black and you lose the lyrics.
Food is fine. Nothing to write home about. Maybe try the chicken skin skewers, all the other dishes you can get at a hole in the wall.
Guy at front refused to split the dinner bill because, "this isn't a McDonald's, just Zelle". Lol. Well it's not exactly a Michelin star either. A friend of mine used to work here bit she recently left and I can sense a bit of why now...

I really loved this place. Very clean and great service. The food was ok, I had my good and tasty items as some I didn't think were too tasty. I would definitely go back and recommend it.

We went for the karaokes and the drinks. Their YouTube service was down which made finding songs to sing difficult because everything's in Korean. We're smart enough to navigate it so we had a good time, but the rooms had no air conditioning. All in all I would say don't go on a weekend but the weekday priced seemed much more comparable for what they're offering
