After finding my “kolache connection” permanently closed, I googled kolaches in Aurora and found We Knead. I tried the Cheddar Cheese Sausage and the Jalapeño Cheddar Cheese Sausage (this one’s nice and spicy). Both were among the best kolaches I’ve ever had. The cheese was inside and out, melted and caramelized and crazy delicious. The owner was above and beyond friendly and professional. The atmosphere—what can I say? It’s a donut factory—unpretentious and sweet smelling! I’ll be back for the donuts!

This little shop hasn’t been open that long. If you’re from the area you may remember it opening in early 2024, but that was under a different owner/manager. It’s under new management now.
If you are from Texas, like me, (born and raised) you should check out their kolache’s. They have three kinds and I love the sausage cheddar one. I even used to sell them where I worked when I was still a teenager…and their’s are much like what I miss from back home; probably better. I’ve had them more than once and it’s been just as good each time. And the owner is super nice. While I was deciding what else I wanted today, someone came in a picked up a large order, so that’s an option if you are looking to feed a group of people.
Definitely check them out. They are at E Quincy Ave & S Buckley Rd in the shopping center with King Soopers and Chipotle.

Man the donuts are some of the best and trust me we’ve tried them all. Abu is an amazing person and very helpful. This is our new favorite place.
Way more than just donuts! The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic (on croissant, bagel or English muffin), and my wife said the iced chai tea is the best in the area. Great variety on all bakery items. Clean and friendly, overall this family-run store takes care of their regulars and has an awesome selection. Vegetarian breakfast burritos available and also a gluten free breakfast bowl, so our whole group was able to eat here.

They are always so nice to us when we come in. The kids love the themed donuts and I don't know where they source their strawberries from for the special cronut, but they always taste perfect. The bacon burrito is also tasty, when I'm not in the mood for donuts but everyone else is.
