Absolutely DELICIOUS food. Service was very attentive and warm. Excessively overpriced, honestly laughable. Was expecting as much. Know before you go.
Perfect ski lunch. Service and food were awesome. Our server, Alex, was fantastic and took care of our son's gluten-free requirement. The vibe is lively and a little loud, but it's perfect for the setting. We've been going to Buffalos since before it was Buffaloes. It is only getting better.
We miss the menu Buffalos used to offer a couple years ago. Bring back the Nachos and the Grain Bowl for dinner. Also, how about a California Chardonnay?
Food was very good as usual. Sunday for lunch was relatively quiet. Service was inattentive during the meal, only coming over to take our order and not checking in at all throughout the meal, almost avoiding eye contact. I literally had to get up to get server's attention to get more iced tea.
Food was great and our server Mack did an outstanding job! It is a very busy, crowded restaurant, but such is the nature of the Ritz because of its prime location, so be patient with the team. They truly are trying to give you a great experience. 36 ounce ribeye sliced in the cast iron skillet, Bison tomahawk, and the onion ring tower were highlights of the meal. We also enjoyed the banana pudding and cowboy cookie for dessert!
Food is terrific with big portions. We had the bison burger and turkey leg shared between three and it was more than enough. Our waitress, Autumn was funny and efficient. We will definitely be back.
Autumn is an absolute stitch and a great server. We throughly enjoyed her and her service.
One of the best restaurants in the area. Staff is so nice and service was great

We went thinking it would be like last year and unfortunately it was nothing like last year last year. It was $80 a person and it was amazing. Best food best service this year it was $120 and it was buffet. It was not at all what we expected and not very good at all.
I ordered the Prime NY Strip for $82 and requested medium rare plus which is half way between medium rare and medium. The steak came out rare, tried a few pieces and still cold in the middle. Finally sent back and came it back still not even medium rare. Extremely disappointing as by now my wife was finished with her meal which was the trout and by the way she really enjoyed her dinner. In addition, I got the double baked potato which was unbelievably small for $21. Probably the size of a medium sized red potato, which was shocking for the price. We are from Chicago and have had hundreds of meals at Chicago steakhouses and can get a double baked at Gibsons for $14 and would be at least 4 times the size. The server did not seem to care and no one offered anything to make it better. Should have known since it is a hotel restaurant! Even though my wife's dinner was good we both felt that we could not recommend this restaurant to anyone based on the very poor experience at extremely high prices. Will not be going back! Geoff

I love Buffalo's, it feels like a very nice casual place to eat after a day skiing. Still, I think that it is overpriced for what it is. The food is great, but I would simply not order any of the options above $40 to eat at a casual restaurant in the mountains. Not even NYC is that expensive.
Lackluster menu and mediocre food. Definitely not what one would expect at the Ritz. Overcooked hamburger, over breaded schnitzel curiously with a bone, very pedestrian wedge salad, unusual trout not butterflied as usual. Service, however was excellent.
The food is good. The service is much better than in the past. It's just too expensive. It's convenient; but, restaurants in Avon and Edwards have food just as good at about 1/2 the price. The pricing at the Ritz is ridiculous. The portions are huge. Cut down on the portions and price the food accordingly.
We had a great time with our friends having a casual dinner of drinks, burgers, fries, onion rings and salads — everything was excellent! A really warm, fun atmosphere with great service too!
