I’ve lived in Valley 35 years, went in to grab some white rice. Guy in charge says we’re not a Panda Express and walks away. Came back by saying order an entree and you can get some rice, which I told him I’d be glad to do. He then walked away.

We really enjoyed our dinner at China Garden. The food was delicious. The staff is very attentive with fast service. The addition of the Friday German menu is a fun option. The brats and sauerkraut were delicious!

Favorite place in Avon for great food and cocktails. The bartenders are top notch. The record collection is impressive. There's a fantastic German menu on the weekends in addition to their Asian cuisine. A very unique spot that you have to visit while in town.

They won't survive 2024.....Something has changed in the last 6 months, maybe the chef found the rainbow bridge? If that's the case my sympathies.

First time eating here. Our impressions both positive and negative:Pros: Nice ambience. Very friendly waitstaff.Cons: Subpar food. I ordered the beef Szechuan which was the best of the three dishes. One son ordered drunken noodles. The whole dish was cold and a portion of the noodles were undercooked. Another son ordered Pad Thai. It was a soupy mess with no flavor. And to add insult to injury, they serve NO rice with their non-noodle dishes. I had to payextra. What Chinese restaurant does not serve white rice their main protein dishes?? $90 with tip with NO alcohol! Never going back.

Ordered togo food. General toas chicken was dry. Drunken noodles had a burnt taste. Veggie fried rice had no seasoning. This place makes mays palace look like a michelin restaurant. This place is hot garbage

Got delivery for 7 people from here and it was extremely disappointing. The portions were super small and many of the dishes were awful. Dumplings were the same ones you get at the grocery store but deep fried. 3 packets of soy sauce, a couple fortune cookies and chop sticks, and had to pay extra for a small tub of rice, otherwise no rice would have been included… with Chinese food? Come on guys. This place is stingy and cheap- take your biz elsewhere. Also, the delivery fee was $35 plus tip.

A hidden gem! The food is delicious and the service was great. From what I assume to be the owner was telling us how their meats are bought fresh and never frozen and it really shows with quality. It was so good we ordered an extra portion of orange chicken! I can't recommend this place

We've eaten here in the past but to say it's gone downhill is an understatement. The soup literally came in sauce containers. There wasn't enough in them for the smallest child. We ordered fried rice and were charged for it but it never made it's way into the bag. Very disappointing. Don't spend your money here. You won't get much for it if you get it at all.

A recent and fun addition to China Garden's menu is the German Pop-up Menu on Fri-Sun, cooked by Chef Gunther. The Beef Stroganoff is one of the best I have tasted, and the Jaegerschnitzel is very tasty. Shervin and crew always make the bar a fun and welcoming place to hang out.
